She is having some new foods or the water?

I think it's the new foods. Singapore is known for being a very clean place. So, I think their water probably is fine. It could also be that she caught something on the plane ride over. Those long transcontinental flights usually make me come down with something like a flu. Give her a break from the new foods. Give her her bland foods like steamed rice, toast, bananas. Make sure she gets lots of clear liquids (like Gatorade). If the diarrhea continues more than three days, or if she begins to look dehydrated (lightly pinch her skin on her hand, if it springs back she's okay, if it holds its shape and goes back sluggishly she's probably dehydrated) take her to the doctor. If she's listless, take her to the doctor. If the liquids don't seem to stay in: she vomits or they come out via diarrhea, don't take any chances. Take her in. Infants can really go downhill quickly with diarrhea.

Diarrhea, Defined:

The medical definition of diarrhea involves the defecation of more than 200 grams per day, although there is no formal measurement of such volume upon diagnosis. Diarrhea can be both an acute and chronic condition
What Causes Diarrhea?
Food intolerance
Certain medications
Viral infections
Bacterial infections
Parasites
Intestinal diseases
Functional bowel disorders

Standard Treatments for Diarrhea:

Physician intervention is usually not necessary unless diarrhea has persisted for over 2 weeks. In most cases, diarrhea will run its course and the only treatment needed is maintaining adequate fluid intake to prevent dehydration from occurring. Your physician will, more than likely, advise you to replace fluids with an electrolyte mixture, due to the fluid, minerals and salts (e.g. potassium and sodium) lost during diarrhea. In addition, milk products, caffeine, and greasy, spicy, high-fiber, or sweetened foods should always be avoided. When you begin eating again, doctors usually recommend the BRAT diet, which consists of bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast, to test your individual tolerance. If you are able to eat these foods without restriction, you may want to begin incorporating simple/bland foods into your diet. These include; crackers, plain chicken, soups, carrots, and potatoes.

Careful though. My friend lost his 11mo son this way. Treat it as a emergency in any case.

Buy bottled water. Our tap water is recycled toilet water (sai-chwee in local parlance)., God knows if they can filter out all the birth control medications, myraid drugs people ingested and excreted.

I have an iron cast stomach and get the runs still.

it's common to feel sick when you move to a country with poorly treated drinking water. This will likely to go away after a week because your immune system is adapting to change
