Pregnancy & Parenting - 9 January 2007

I went to the swimming pool last week and without thinking i went in the Jucuzzi.... now iv just read all that damage it can cause. I know it may sound silly, but i just didnt know. Im now 9 and a half weeks... do u think i may have caused damage or likely to miscarry? I feel soo bad. I stayed in for about 20/25 mins.

I finished my pack of pills this week (I'm on the placebo pills this week) ... This pack of pills (that I just finished) is a new brand w/ higher horomones..I have been on the lower dosage for about a year (had some irregularities in my bleeding so I switched)

I normally start my period on Wednesday of the placebo pills....

Today is Wednesday and I haven't started bleeding yet...
When should I start to worry? When should I take a pregnancy test?

My friend told me alcohol will make you especially sick when you are pregnant. I am a college girl, pretty well known for my alcohol tolerance. on new years i couldnt even finish 2 glasses of champagne without a bad stomache. i cant even tolerate hard liquor anymore i have been drinking wine.

I havent had a period since dec. 3, im nauseous pretty much 24/7, smells make me nauseous, im hungry but the thought eating make me nauseous, and i have had lower abdominal cramps (feels like period but not blood). took a test (negative) on 12/21 i realize it was a little early...

Our 2 1/2 year old does not want to talk to her Nana on the phone, which is a big issue since she lives 3 hours away - we can only visit her about once a month (she can't drive), but she calls almost every day.

This not wanting to talk to Nana issue started maybe about 6 months ago with us having to coax her into talking on the phone - but that was happening with both my parents and Nana. She now loves to talk to Grammie and Grampy (who only live 20 minutes away and see her all the time), but as soon as we pick up the phone and say, "Hi Nana," she covers her ears and scrunches down on the couch or runs away - we have to threaten her (no Toy Story tonight) to get her to just say a few words. This big change occurred after Nana spent Christmas week at our house in an attempt to get them to connect, which just went so bad - she didn't even want to play with Nana. Nana is 80 years old and is EXTREMELY sensitive - she thinks her granddaughter hates her. We just don't know what to do!

i got in trouble because of my brother last night and i was going to tell the truth that i recked his stuff but i told a lie and my mom found my shirt and knew i lied so i said i am sorry and cried but i got punished. i got a spanking and my brother shares my room and last night he didn't leave. i also have to go to bed early for a couple weeks. i am way to old to get it. i still get a time out just like them. how do i tell them i want to get grounded? i would not mind this.

My grandson w hom we are caring for now sleeps from 10 p.m. till 8 a.m. - he naps at 3 or 4 p.m.. Yes, we try to get him to sleep by 8 p.m. (if only) and start rocking him etc. from 1 plm on - and yes he excercises, eats fine etc.. The "Mother's Day Out' program expects him to nap after lunch, we'd like that too. Any solutions or insights? Only solution we are trying now is to wake him at 6 a.m. and hope that adjusts things. My two kids had this problem too and it exhausted us for years. I don't want to go through this again. This forum promises some great help and I appreciate any ideas.

I dont mind providing DNA ok its just the fact he is asking me to do it after 12 wks which I believe could harm the child - I do not want to harm the child and said I can provide after its born but he said he will not look after me if I do not cave into his demands..people Im trying to be responsible but what would you do if you were in this position? I have never cheated on the guy - his prob is he has difficulty trusting anyone who is a woman - I just kept giving him too many chances..I didnt have unprotected sex - it was sex gone wrong - hence the accident

i had been on clomid for 4 cycles,this cycle i got spotting for 8 days,from day 20 to day 28, now it is day 44 and i didnt have my period yet,i have pain in the crotch area and little pain in my left side,is this normal.
my cycle with clomid is almost 31 days.

I have antiphosphilipid syndrome I take heparin to thin my blood I'm 23 weeks pregnant and just found out about 5 weeks ago about the disease I was wondering I have this blood clot atleast that is what it appears to be in my leg it has been there for 2 years and I've never mentioned it to the doctors or showed it to them it's in the back of my leg well it seems to have swollen it's sticking out more and I'm going to show it to my doctor today I was wondering if anyone thinks I'll get hospitalized or what they'll do I already have to give myself shots twice a day and I'm scared of what's going to happen if it is in fact a blood clot anyone with similar problems or thoughts about this would be appreciated.

i think my baby may be tongue tied. He has trouble feeding... he will suck his bottle for about 20 secs then wriggle around and get frustrated and cry so i stop feeding him briefly. He then cries for his bottle so i give it back and he does it again. I have tried diff formula's and colic drops and all the different bottles and even all the stages of teats but nothing works. he is 5 weeks old. does this sound like he is tongue tied? What were the symptoms of feeding your tongue tied baby? (if applies to you)
