I'm sorry but that's not being unique or individualistic, it's a permanent punishment for your kids!

Any advice would be appreciated. My daughter is 8 she will be 9 in a few months. Things are getting really bad. She back talks, throws fits, screams and demands things all the time. I know alot of this is my fault because I haven't been consistent with punishing her. I want to change. However, I don't know what to do. I haven't done it right in the past so I need some help. Any suggestions...I just want to have a good relationship with her and enjoy being with her. I loose my temper sometimes too and I want to change that... Please help with some advice or tips that have worked for you, Thanks

Ok so, my husband and I got married on June 10th 2006! ... anyways we are kinda really talking about being parents! we are very excited and i just can't get it out of my head.... me a mother! Finally! Heres the thing, we are trying to do this the right way but it seems like i keep getting screwed. we were gonna do the whole ok i dont have health insurance thing and then get "help" from the state when i fianlly do get preggo but ehn found out ha! we make tooo much money... even though we are paying all of our debt to prepare for our new arrival... thats why we are struggling a little now. anyways i now have induvidual geisinger health ins i searched for and now have! but i am confused on if it covers the actual birth. just wondering if it doesnt how much does having a baby cost in pennsylvania? i am 24 yrs old and am in exellent health. just thought i'd add that. but can i get any other help if my ins doesnt cover it all? just asking. if not the gift will always be worth it!!!!

i have a feeling that i could be pregnant i did not miss my period in december but i only last one day heavy and the last 3 very light and i still take my pills my period in january start soon but after december i had bad pain all over my body bad.so if i am pregnant can the pill hurt the baby?im waiting to see if my period start this week if not ill take the test and go to the doctor but right now im waiting.

If the pregnancy wasn't in danger, and the doctors were very succesful . 99 precent of the babies went home healthy ,and no long term problems.

I talk to my 11 month old like he is old enough to understand stuff because I know some day he will understand. I think that telling my son where we are going, what we are doing, and why we are doing it, etc, helps him with vocabulary and he already says "nite nite" and "bye bye." I'm I trying to hard to teach him stuff or is this a good thing?

I am almost 39 weeks and I had my membranes stripped yesterday evening and I am dilated to 4, I have had the so called "blood show" and two contractions today, but now my back is really hurting about every 15 to 20 minutes and I wanted to know if it's possible to have back contractions and not have them in the front, and if this is true, am I in labor and what should I do? I am a first time mother.

My 6 mo old laughs at the strangest things. The other day it was the dog laying down sleeping. Then it was a flag blowing in the wind. Then it as her older brother walking in front of her. once it was the water running in the sink. Another was me scratching my head. My son, 21 mo, laughed at the windshield wipers. I had my first Dr. appt today and got blood took, pee in the cup and did the pap and ect. Was you sore after the pap??? Its not real bad but its like an uncomfortable ache there now. Thanks!!!

Why does it seem like there's so many kids on here who's parents allow them to be alone long enough to have sex??
What is the matter with all the adults these days?? Do they just let their little girls run around having sex with who ever when ever?
I've seen as young as 10 years old on here afraid about a possible pregnancy!!! How, can that happen????

I have some pressure fit baby gates but the problem is I can not install them firmly enough because of how far my baseboards stick out/how tall they are.

I can't just install them above the baseboards because my dog needs to be able to jump them.

Has anyone else had this problem? Do they sell some sort of adapter to make the top stopper longer so it will make better contact with the wall?

Money is tight so I would rather not have to buy new gates.

XD there are soooo many of my girlfriends i work with are getting pregnant..especially all these girls either early twenties or teens getting pregnant....i thought 28 or 30 is the right age to get pregnant?

but then my guy friend said no by the time your thirty or close to it
