ps. i just had a miscarriage before this pregnancy and ia m so scared i will have ultrasound tomorrow to be sure.

me and my g/f are concently arguing about the way we raise our son, i say one thing and she says something completely different and the worse part is that he knows we argue about him and he delibertly causes fights between us and then one of us is the bad guy, he doesn't really care which one it is as long as he gets what he wants after cause then the good guy feels guilty and gives in

I am 17 weeks pregnant with my second child and I am dreading a long labor and delivery again. With my son I had to be induced at 41 weeks, I was in labor for right at 24 hours and pushed for 2 hours. I have always heard the second baby will come out easier and quicker since there's more room down there from the first birth.

My MIL has been bugging me to babysit my daughter since I brought her home from the hospital five months ago. My daughter has only been left with my husband for short amounts of time as I work from home. I'm only working part time from home right now so I can devote a lot of time reading and going to baby and mom classes etc. I LOVE being with my child and really don't feel like leaving her with anyone. My mother in law is becoming a hound to babysit, eventhough my husband takes my daughter once a week to her house to visit while I do grocery shopping. She gets to visit 1-2 hours a week. Should I leave my daughter with her eventhough I am not comfortable just to keep peace?. I should also mention that my husband is not crazy about her babysitting because her health is soso and she is in her 70's and smokes. We want to be fair though and are willing to be somewhat flexible.

Ok, quite a few of you have suggested I go see a doctor, for my possibly more than a cold.... Next question is should I call my regular doctor or my obgyn? Sorry to sound so dumb, Im just not the type to go to the doctor, except my obgyn for the baby. For those that didnt see my other question... I am 5 months pregnant and have either a really bad cold, or maybe something more than just a cold. I feel TERRIBLE!

My girlfriend has the following symptoms:

Tender and harder breasts, headaches and dizziness, stomach cramping, darker nipples and veins, increased weight over the past week, extreme fatigue, nausea and feeling sick - not actually been sick though, slight discharge - brown ish and is craving anything spicy!

She didnt miss last period although it was late and is due on again in the next couple of days.

I understand what these symtoms point to but could she really have these symptoms this early on?? IF not what could these be symtoms of??

Would really appreciate some info. thanks

Hello,
I had an affair with a married man. I was married too at the time but clearly as an idiot I believed my lover and thought we would end up together. So when we got pregnant, I had the baby. He was fine with that.
My son is now one year old. I also have a daughter from my husband. I was devastated when my lover left me and not strong enough to leave or tell my husband. I ended up in therapy, on medication and I still can not face telling my husband my son is not his. And it just seems better to at least preserve my dayghter and husband than to destroy their lives.
The bio dad - who has two teenage kids decided shortly after the birth of my son that he was leaving me and went back to his family. Overnight. He saw our baby once. It was a secret affair. From being the love of his life I went to nothing.
That I have to cope with. What I can not cope with is that now he is totally refusing to acknowledge we have a baby and although it might not matter for now - one day it might matter to my son. How can a father refuse to love his son? How is that possible? I just don't understand. I know I did something awful. Classic stupid woman. Don't tell me that. Tell me what I should do - should I try to keep in touch with the bio dad or just forget the whole thing. What is the best thing for my child?
This wasn't a one night stand - it went on for more than a year. He says he will never be able to have a relationship with him. It just seems too awful. How can he chose not to love him?

My husband and I were told that it would be nearly impossible for him to have children due to his sperm. But for the last five weeks my breasts have been hurting and recently I have had episodes of sour stomach. Could I be pregnant, or could there be another reason for the symptoms?

Ok, I am 5 months pregnant, and have a TERRIBLE cold. Actually im starting to think it might be more than just a cold. My first question is can I use cough drops? I know that they're not on my list from the doctor. Also should I go to the doctor? I mean is there anything they can do for me anyway? There is so little we can take being pregnant, should I bother? I'm 36 weeks and our sex life has gone to the crapper. I was a single mom with my first - so I didn't have to "deal" with this aspect of pregnancy! Anyways though- my sex drive is really high- even though sex is becoming more uncomfortable no matter what position.. (i get really crampy etc) Since the beginning of my pregnancy he has had "problems" getting off- and he's said all along it's because he gets thinking about the baby and he gets worried he's hurting me or something and then it just doesn't happen. I know that is normal. I know he watches porn and just masturbates instead now... and we still have sex maybe once a week. I'm just looking for some encouragement- because It's really hard for me to not take it personally and not take it as rejection. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed because my sex drive is so high- but he obviously isn't enjoying sex with me at this point- and I know once I have the baby- it will be like 6 weeks if not more before we can resume.
