My girlfriend has the following symptoms:

Tender and harder breasts, headaches and dizziness, stomach cramping, darker nipples and veins, increased weight over the past week, extreme fatigue, nausea and feeling sick - not actually been sick though, slight discharge - brown ish and is craving anything spicy!

She didnt miss last period although it was late and is due on again in the next couple of days.

I understand what these symtoms point to but could she really have these symptoms this early on?? IF not what could these be symtoms of??

Would really appreciate some info. thanks

Congratulations! Yes it sounds like your gf is pregnant. Some people experiance these sympyoms with in a few days of concieving, while for others it can take weeks, and a few lucky ones dont get them at all!! It is also possible to have periods while you are less than 6 weeks, i did! Good luck, and look after her, she will be feeling like crap for a while!

She could be pregnant - or she could simply be pre-menstrual. Lots of women have tender breasts, fatigue, and cravings immediately before their cycle begins. If you think she's pregnant, then it's high time you got a pregnancy test and found out. Since she didn't miss her previous period, though, and presuming you have been using protection/birth control (????), then chances are that she's just PMS. If she misses THIS period, then that's a whole other can of worms, and it's definitely time to purchase that test.

It sounds like she might be pregnant, but also sounds like there's another problem. She should she a doctor just in case. You would't want anything to happen to her (or the baby,if there is one) so don't take any chances by putting off seeing a doctor.

I agre with Purdy, sounds like you are discribing 2 conditions.
One being an STD the other a pregnancy - get to the doctors.

Well...it is possible for a woman to have her period while being pregnant. Buy a test...or go to a doctor.

No-one can tell you, only a doctor can do that. Take her to the doctor and get it checked out ASAP. It sounds like this would be rather uncomforatable for her.

Well if you really do appreciate your girlfriend you would take her to a Doctor...(you know...THE person who gets paid to KNOW what is wrong with her)...
