hiya my midwife filled in all my notes ( boring ) then gave me a general check up.
BP, felt my belly etc. depending how far along you are she may see if she can pick up the heart beat, although not all midwives will try before 16weeks just not to worry you if they dont find it which is easy to do as baby is still quite small.
is she visiting you at home? if you are going to her the she may take blood and do height & weight aswell. my 1st appointment has always been at home though so that was all done by my GP in surgery.
then she will book you in for a scan.
but this is just my experience some midwives do things differently.
congratulations on the baby x x x x

she will go through personal details - height, weight, dependancies (drugs etc), family history, give u a pack with all sorts of info in, take blood and make future appointments for u. It takes about an hour. Good luck

Bloodwork. Urine test. Weight. Lots of talking about appointments to come and what to expect. If you have questions write them down so you make sure you get to ask all of them. The appointment will go fast so make sure you have your questions written down.

My first appt replaced into at 5 weeks and that replaced into purely for workplace work and blood sorting out. The nurse mentioned the rfile many times does not see sufferers till they are around 10 weeks the two because of the fact it is so early. I went a 9 a million/2 weeks and have been given an ultrasound and it rather is been each and every 3 or 4 weeks when you consider that then. i think of it rather is because of the fact it is so early that there is no longer plenty they could look for or pay attention for yet. you additionally could make it 5 weeks! :-)
