She's 6 months old and doesn't have any teeth yet! Is it true that the longer it takes for her teeth to come out, the better the teeth will be?

I lived in the same city when he was born and babysat him a lot before I married and moved a year later. We now live over 500 miles apart. He's almost three and I want him to remember me, to know who I am, and to be able to love me. I like to give him gifts, but what's something I can give that will be beneficial to his memory of me?

Last night I was walking home after dark on a busy city street when I noticed a 4 year old boy crying, having a tantrum. I was pretty sure his mom was down the street at the bus stop - about 20 feet away but started to approach the boy to make sure he was with his mom. Before I could get to him he darted around the corner and went into the Salvation Army store. I caught up with him, and asked him where his mom was. Luckily the store manager recognized the little boy as the son of the woman who owned the salon up the street. I mentioned that I thought I had seen a woman who could be his mom waiting at the bus stop, and we all went out the door to look for her. When we found the mom and told her where her son went she was not phased at all. She couldn't have cared less that her son had disappeared for 2-3 minutes after dark on a busy street. I am thinking about calling child services to check out his situation, but don't know what the consequences might be. What would you do?

Ok I had tubal ligation after I had my son ( I have two) But I am 2 weeks late. my son is 3, I had them tie my tubes when I had him by c-section.... I feel PG, Sick dizzy peeing like crazy.

i have to go to a different state for a court date. yet i'm 34 weeks pregnant. my court date is about 1 week after my due date. and i have to fly there. would it be safe to travel there with my baby??? or what? i don't know what to do because this court date involves my 2 year old. Help!

I am 32 weeks and would like to give birth with no epidural. I don't want to be stuck in the bed! I also would like to not have an IV, but would like pain meds. Is this a reasonable request?

Of course if the pain is bad I am open to an epidural, but I am pretty tough and would rather stick it out if the extreme pain doesn't last that long. Any advice?

I think it's harmless family fun, and it doesn't seem to hurt the fish - they just swim kind of funny for a while when you put them back in the tank, which adds to the entertainment.

Okay we're expecting and we are almost ten weeks along. We tried to be safe for the things that we do. Here's the thing, I bought 2000 Flush automatic toilet bowl cleaner. My husband told me to take it off since the smell of bleach is so strong that it might affect the baby since he said "I'm always sitting in the toilet".... well he is right about the sitting in the toilet since I pee like every 15 minutes since I found out I am pregnant. Is he right about the toilet drop cleaner? Will it have an affect on the baby?

My 4 and a half month old son is not that great of an eater do to some cows milk allergys and a heart defect so I am thinking of trying some rice cereal in the next few weeks,I picked up some Milupa but it has milk products,I am in Vancouver Canada,I am not sure if we have the same products as the U.S.A but any info would help,I do have friends that live in Seattle so if you know of some good stuff I can always go get some.Thank you!!Help me!

I've been a stay at home mom for over 4 1/2 years, since I got pregnant with my first right after finishing school and getting married. But I still struggle with not feeling like I'm doing something worthwhile. I couldn't imagine putting my 3 girls in daycare, and all the money I would make working would probably just go towards paying for the daycare. But I feel like I'm not accomplishing anything all day, when all I do is hold my screaming infant and fulfill my toddler and preschooler's every whim. Even if I do get chores actually done I still feel like I should be doing more but can't. Does anyone have any advice or encouragement?

My son is 8 years old. For most of his life his father wasn't in his life. When my son was 3 his father went to jail and is a convicted felon (a "street pharmacist"). He seemed to have made a change when we communicated while he was in jail. Now that he's out he seems to be going back into his old frame of mind. My son never really knew him and I've tried helping him bond with my son, but my son doesn't want to be bother with him. I frankly don't want him around my son if he his going to revert back to his old ways. Should I and my son stay away from him. He and his girlfriend has recently started drama and she seems to have influence over him. She convenced him to have a DNA test to prove my son is his- when he already knows cause they look exactly alike from the head all the way down to how their toenails look. Should I continue to have this drama in my and my son's life or should I tell him to leave us alone?
