My favorite pregnancy weekly calendar is on Baby Gaga. Here's week 6:

http://pregnancy.baby-gaga.com/calendar/week6

I didn't start showing until around 18 weeks, but then it was just a little pooch that looked like tummy fat, so people didn't really start noticing I was pregnant until around 25 weeks (and even then some people thought it was regular belly fat!). I've read that thin women can show earlier than others. First time pregnant women may start showing later in their pregnancies because the muscles in their stomachs are normally stronger.

You're early on in your pregnancy, so if you're not experiencing any morning sickness, be thankful and hope that you don't get any! I didn't have morning sickness during my first trimester, but for my ENTIRE second trimester I threw up nearly every day (it was awful). I still get sick from time to time (about once or twice a week) and I'm 34 weeks now.

You'll probably be losing all your energy sometime soon, too. First trimesters are really rough :-( but remember that it's all worth it when you start feeling absolutely miserable!

Pick up What to Expect When You're Expecting - it's a great pregnancy book that will answer the most common questions. Also, one of my favorite magazines to read is BabyTalk. It's mostly geared towards first-time moms, with great tips and advice on what to do. I know it seems like a long way off till you're having the baby, but it's never to early to start reading about babies! Good luck with everything!

Okay well i started showing at about 3 months. I didn't make it any better though i started wearing maternity clothes early and made myself look bigger then what i was. Well you should feel the baby move at about 4 1/2 months that is so cool. Then at about 5 1/2 you will get to find out if you are having a boy or a girl. Well then at about 7 months you get the diabetic test done and also have to have a test done at 8months i can't remember what it is called but the have to stick a qtip BUT WAY BIGGER in you butt to find out if you carry this certain virus that you baby and catch durning birth but its not to big of a deal. Well up until about 5 months you are going once a month then you will start 2 twice a month then when you are 36 weeks you will go once every week.
Well i can't really say much more .

You're going to feel bloated for a long time before any belly shows. Do yourself a favor and buy a couple things one size bigger than you wear now. You'll feel SO much more comfortable and you'll need them after the baby is born when you don't yet fit into your old stuff.

Maternity tank tops (with the built in bra) are fantastic because they're longer to hide that bulge you feel. I unbuttoned my shirts and wore tank tops or t-shirts under them.
It's a frustrating time - you probably haven't told many people and you'll feel like you have PMS (bloating, zits, fatigue and a general "bleah" feeling). Focus on your bigger boobs and (probably) great fingernails!

If you have morning sickness, that makes it even tougher. I started to show around 4 months but it was closer to 5 months before stranger would dare mention my belly.

This has simply occurred to me as I became 6 weeks. Sunday I began bleeding, I knew of many females who noticed so I wasn't to involved in the beginning. Later on I began getting cramps and a couple of clot tissues, then I was once beautiful definite I was once having a miscarriage. I went to the physician in these days, had blood drawn and get the outcome the next day to come, regardless that I already understand what will be stated. I'm no longer definite if it is something to fear approximately with simplest gentle bleeding, that may be ordinary. If you begin cramping or clotting and having tissue like clots of blood, that is a definite signal of miscarriage. I desire to God that the whole thing is going good and your youngster is first-class. Even so early on within the being pregnant, it is heartbreaking for a miscarriage to occur. I already cherished the youngster that was once developing within of me and I can not feel it is long gone identical to that.

I would suggest going to Wal-Mart or a bookstore and picking up a copy of "What to expect when youre expecting". It has been my bible for answering all the unknowns that you are feeling right now. Its a fantastic book and has helped me tremendously when I wasnt sure about things.
And as for how you are feeling physically, you will be bloated right now. This is not baby, as it is only about the size of a peanut....but your uterus is filling up with blood to nourish you baby. I felt little flutters at 3 1/2 months, and everyone said that it was really rare that i did that early. The smaller (thinner) you are, the more you will see apparent physical changes.
I am thrilled for you!! I am 5 months now and feel my baby daily. This has been a wonderful experience already and I have had fun with him already. I actually rocked him to sleep the other night because it seems that he wants to roll around when i am ready for sleep. So i scooted to the footboard and began rocking the bed. IT WORKED!! It was a special time for me.
You have only begun to experience the changes, and once you start feeling movement and get creative like i did, you will see what I am talking about. Its a true miracle and blessing. :)
Good luck to you and GO GET THE BOOK! God bless.

You normally don't show until about 4 months with your first pregnancy. If you want to see your baby's development, you can check out this web-site: http://www.pregnancyguideonline.com/wk6.htm

I also recommend the following books:
"Your Pregnancy, Week by Week" by Glade Curtis
"The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy" by Vicki Iovine

Best wishes for a healthy pregnancy. I'm 5 weeks pregnant with my second baby.
