Jonah, Jacob or if you want the unique stuff, you can try working with the letters a bit, like Jakob or Jaykob. Noah or Noa, Cayn... there are lots. Sit down with your friend, find some good biblical names and try playing with the letters. Congrats to your friend and good luck!

I had the following name picked if my daughter had been a boy:
Noah Michael
Noah is both biblical and trendy and unique.
Michael is my husband's middle name so it gave it a family meaning.

Well "trendy" usually means "popular" which is the opposite of "unique" so it's tough to say.
What about Levi? It's Biblical and unique.
