My 4 and a half month old son is not that great of an eater do to some cows milk allergys and a heart defect so I am thinking of trying some rice cereal in the next few weeks,I picked up some Milupa but it has milk products,I am in Vancouver Canada,I am not sure if we have the same products as the U.S.A but any info would help,I do have friends that live in Seattle so if you know of some good stuff I can always go get some.Thank you!!Help me!

Hello, my son is allergic to milk also, as well as soy. We use Earth's Best (organic) rice cereal and also Beechnut Oatmeal cereal. Neither of them contain milk or soy. The Earth's Best is available at most Walmarts and Giant Eagle also. Good luck!

If he has any allergies it would really be best to wait, no matter what kind of cereal it is. The AAP recommends introducing solids around 6 months of age. Starting earlier can increase the child's chances of allergies.....so if he already has problems, it's really best to hold off a while.

youll have to pick up gerber or one of the organic varieties that abound on the supermarket shelfs...they wont be premixed but then you can control consistency. Beechnut also is milk free.
