I think it's harmless family fun, and it doesn't seem to hurt the fish - they just swim kind of funny for a while when you put them back in the tank, which adds to the entertainment.

It's "family fun" if you have a bong???? Oh, holy God. I don't know, it may give your kids wrong ideas, because if one day, they say, "Can I try the bong?" and you say no, they'll have a pretty good argument of, "But the fish do it all the time."

Weed would affect the animal the same way it affects humans. It may be really strong for the fish because it's such a big dose for such a small animal. You also may kill the fish. I wouldn't.
