Tell the doctor this, and they will keep it and do studies on why the baby dies.

In Washington, if a fetus is past 20 weeks at the time of the miscarriage/stillbirth, a fetal death certificate must be obtained. It must be signed by the attending physician or by the medical examiner if no physician was in attendance. Beyond that, the disposal of the body can be handled in any way the family wishes. Similar laws are in effect in many states.

well I will not judge but I think you can donate him/her to science so they can do tests on him/her for research.
From reading your past questions I assume this is you you are talking about and from all your questions I can assume that you were not far along. The baby has to be over 20 weeks to be considered still born or anything like this. If you are under that then you will either have a D/C or you will miscarry it.

I believe if they are stillborn (ie born after 24 weeks) they must be barried so they are barried in the pauper's field with all the other unclaimed adult bodies.

I don't know where you are, but in the UK they will cremate the remains and either scatter them with other babies who have died, or give the ashes to you if you want them. I don't know about other countries, but I am guessing it is similar.

That's the most disturbing yet valid question I've seen on here. I have no idea. I hope something respectable.

I think it really depends. Cremation, donated to science, or just buried in most cases.

why would you not want the baby just because it died? its still youe FULLY DEVELOPED child. if this was me i would treat the child the same as if it had lived for a short time. proper send off. i cannot believe that someone would not want their baby just because it was still born.

The nurses will grind up the little kid and turn him into a cup of Brown Sugar. Then, you can make a chocolate cake.
