it depends on whether she originally likes her father or not, if she likes him and is proud of him yes most probably she will look for a man like him, but this does not mean she succeeds in her choice, sometimes girls are drawn to a man who physically looks like her father but turns out to be a total asshole.

I never did, my father was an alcoholic that was never around for us kids when we were growing up. From the time i was three yrs old to the age of 20 i saw my father 2 times, at his father's funeral and the night before he died. I always wanted someone completely different from my dad. A man that would be there for his children and take care of us. I would never be with someone like my father. I think as children grow into adults their looking for a life that was better than their own for their children. I want my babies to have a better life than i ever did growing up.

I can say with absolute certainty that this is not a factual statement. On occasion women may marry guys that are like their fathers, but I can't think of one instance personally. I married someone completely different than my father, and every guy I dated was nothing like him either. Although I wish I would have found someone with at least some of my fathers qualities.

I honestly think the man a girl marries has a trait or two of her father, good or bad it's there. It may not be a trait that is seen but it's there. I know my hubby is like my dad in many ways, but in other respects he's world's apart from him, just like a guy marries a woman that is like his mom in some ways...we may not realize it, but often times it happens.

alot of times yes. think about it there father is the only man that they really look upto and feel they can trust even if that father shouldnt be looked upto. and alot of times the way there dad is with there mom is how she will accept being treated also. so if you have a daughter and your doing stuff you wouldnt want her husband to do either dont do it or try not to do it in front of her

I really think so, i married someone like my dad he's not exactly like him but his his morals, ethics, and family priority's are the same. I have cousins that end up being in an relationship just like their parents.(they saw their parents in an abusive relationship and that's what they are in now)
