Ok, quite a few of you have suggested I go see a doctor, for my possibly more than a cold.... Next question is should I call my regular doctor or my obgyn? Sorry to sound so dumb, Im just not the type to go to the doctor, except my obgyn for the baby. For those that didnt see my other question... I am 5 months pregnant and have either a really bad cold, or maybe something more than just a cold. I feel TERRIBLE!

Always call you OB, even if you do decide just to go to your family doctor, always keep your OB in the loop.
for this i would call your OB and see what they suggest you do.

When i called my obgyn for an appointment she told me there wasn't really anything she could do for my cold and that i would have to go to my regular doctor to get checked out. The only other thing i can tell you is call your ob and see what she says.

Go to your regular doctor. He/she is going to be able to help you more than your OBGYN, who is a specialist. Your regular doctor is the ear, nose and throat doc. Good luck to you.

Go to your usual doctor, but be sure he/she knows you are pregnant (if it's not obvious). Your OB will probably just send you to your regular doc anyway.

I was told that even if your sick to call your ob so that they know everything and can help you take whats safe for your baby. Good luck on your baby and congrats

the ob doctor is still a doctor and he is taking care of you and your pregnancy so he should be the one you see plus he needs to know!! i don't think you are dumb you won't know if you don't ask!!

call your ob, they will want to see you if you have a chest cold. Usually your ob handles your health from now on...if they can't, then they will refer you to someone who can while you are pregnant.

you go to your obgyn... they handle all your ilnesses while you are pregnant- they will monitor the baby to see how it's affecting your pregnancy--

i think i'd go to my obgyn,that way you'll be sure to get medicine that won't cause any harm to your baby
