We want a name for our son, we like Marcus Cole, but it seems it reminds people of MUCUS or COLDS so maybe this won't work. What do you honestly think?.

Marcus is cute, but I know some parents who pick names solely on the fact that kids can't make fun of it. They have come up with some creative taunts for usual names. I think you are safe though, but it's up to you.

I didn't think mucus at all. I also didn't think mucus cold when I saw Marcus Cole. I think it's fine. People who are saying that to you are probably just the type of people who will say something about any name, looking for anythign they can think of. No name will be entirely free of comparisons. It's nice so forget them.
