At some point in your pregnancy you may begin to leak colostrum. It's different for all mothers. Some moms leak early on, some leak in the third trimester, and some never leak. Any of these moms can still have a great milk supply and nurse successfully. Leaking isn't an indicator of anything good or bad. Once you have your baby, your milk will come in and your breasts may become engorged. The more often you nurse, the less likely you are to experience bad engorgement. Use ece packs between feedings for the swelling (bags of frozen peas work well) and apply heat right before nursing to soften the breasts and get things flowing.

You may notice that your nipples become darker in the last trimester. You may also notice that the veins in your breasts become more prominent.

the color of the nipple and the area around the nipple start to change colors around 2 months mine started to become painful around 5 months but they become engorged about 2 weeks after you have the baby. most people start to leak colostrum around 6-7 months just put on a breast pad in your bra to keep from leaking on your clothes you can find these at most department stores where the breast pumps are located
