I have a good friend who's sister has a two year old named Jackson. I hardly ever see the sister or the kid so would it be ok to use the same name? And what do you think of Jackson Wayne?

She says that they are about spiders but I think its more serious. My partner does not spend any time with her and she does not go to bed when she should but I dont have a say in bedtimes! Not long ago she woke from a bad nightmare and while standing in her doorway wet herself.

I just found out I am pregnant on Sunday and I tried to make an appt but the soonest they could get me in with a nurse practitioner, not a ob/gyn was next wed. Is this ok. Am I supposed to see the doctor sooner? We had unprotected sex in Dec. around my ovulation time. I'm about 4 weeks how soon will I see the ob/gyn?

I am having an U/S done on Jan 30th as of right now the baby inside of me is nameless. Have no clue on if its a boy or girl

We do however need an A name for a Girl and a J name for a boy.

We have only come up with 1 name
Autumn Rayne for a girl.

I tried to touch my cervix and it was very soft... how is it supposed to feel when the baby is ready to come out? I am 36 weeks now and I hope to deliver soon as the baby is really big. If I was dilated, would there really be like a hole in the middle of cervix?

When I found out that I was pregnant with my third child I weighed a hefty 185 lbs. Two days after he was born, while still in the hospital, I weighed in at 160 lbs. Now I'm at a comfortable 145, continuing to drop after his birth. What could have caused this? I ate normally, walked daily, drank extra water...but with my other two children I gained 40 lbs. +

I certainly can't label my son as a pack rat but he wants to save everything! It is driving me crazy but is funny to. You can't throw anything away in front of him. He gets mad & will take it back out of the garbage. Examples are: wanted to keep McDonald hashbrown wrapper, Taco Bell paper place mats, Chinese container, wrappers from new toys. Today I told him I have to hem some of his pants. He begged me to cut the pants so he can hang the excess material on his bedroom wall! LOL! I cleaned his room some & threw away a talking toy (parts missing) we carried the garbage out together while walking to the car & the toy went off.....Oh my gosh did I get in trouble. Wants to save ornaments from cupcakes, couldn't throw out an old pajama shirt of his or give it to the dog as a toy. But he does have the idea of giving things away to needy :). He'll tell me to save a paper plate even. How do I get him to stop wanting to save EVERYTHING? He is such a funny little boy :)

I am 30 weeks pregnant and have been fighting a severe cold for about a week now. I have a list of meds that my OB gave me that I can use sparingly, but the cough syrup just seems to be making me worse. So I went to St. Johns Express Care, per my OBs order, and she prescribed to me some Amoxil. But she told me to check with my OB about Claritin or Mucinex to dry up the runny nose and watery eyes, it says nothing about either of those meds on my list, so my question does anyone out there know of anything I can safely take over the counter to dry it up fast? It is driving me nuts, my poor nose is raw and both of my eyes are getting that way too from me wiping the tears away constantly. Please help if you can, anything would be greatly appreciated!!

I run my own business and have part-time help. Before i had my daughter, I imagined being super-mom and having a crib in my office for her so that i could manage my business and be close to her. She's 4 months old now. Could bringing her to work with me effect her negatively or would it be better to spend time with her outside of work only? I love her dearly and don't want to be the kind of mom who works and never sees her child. I also don't want to give up my career. Thoughts appreciated.

i'm not using birth control. my boobs are VERY sore and tender. i'm absolutely exhausted! i'm always sick to my stomach and get light headed every once in a while. i've been pregnant before and this is how i felt. however, i took a blood test and it was negative. i took it about a week before my period started. i also don't know if it's really considered a period. it was a little more than spotting but it was MUCH lighter than usual. was that pregnancy test a false neagtive? was it too early to tell? am i pregnant?

Okay so I dont know if this has to do with hormones in my body but im a teen male, and a few years back before i matured, People could say anything to me/about me and i wouldn't care i'd just laugh, but Now im older and with hormones and more mature (testosterone obviously) I am more sensitive to people calling me names? Like i dont cry like a baby but it really bugs me so my question is
1. does this have to do with hormones?
2. what can i do to try and not care so much?

my boyfriend & i had unprotected sex on december 23rd & 24th. both times he pulled out. my period was supposed to come around the 26th, but it never did. then, the following happend:

(jan 2): light pink/brown only when i wipe in the afternoon, red/heavier in the evening
(jan 3): red/heavy-ish all day, only in toilet, never on pad
(jan 4): brown/occasionally red/not very heavy at all throughout the day
(jan 5th): pink/brown only when i wipe
(jan 6th): nothing.

this is no where near a regular period for me. i never came close to soaking 1 pad. i only changed it for comfort & hygiene purposes. and on what should have been the heaviest days of my period, i had bearly any blood & had brown discharge. that's normally a 1st/last day thing. i took 3 pregnancy tests on the 2nd, 5th & 7th day of my missed period but all came negative, though that was before this implantation like bleeding came. i also haven't been stressed at all. i am just wondering what everyone else thinks. feedback?

my sister had twins in May 2005 and they were preemies (born at the end of the seventh month) (they are 18months old now) . one of them had severe colics for about 5 months and she's been suffering since then from constipation..any suggestions please to help this baby. thank you.

Basically, I finished my last period on December 24. Then, on January 3rd, (10 days later), I had sex with my boyfriend. There was no protection used, but I did take the 'morning after pill' 2 hours after intercourse (which im hoping that it was extremely effective). Also, he did manage to take it out before he could *** EVERYTHING inside of me.. but he still did *** in me. Then, 6 days later, I started bleeding... I'm kind of confused whether I should judge the bleeding as my period? If it's not my period, could it be a symptom that I am pregnant?

i last had my period on the 12 of december and on the 21 my husband and had intercourse then on the 26 that night i started bleeding except it wasnt a period at at.. it wasnt heavy and it didnt hurt and it only lasted about 3 days. then the following days after that up untill now ive been having cramps and feeling bloated which i never feel unless im on my period.. ive been having mild headaches and needing to use the bathroom more frequently than normal.i know i dont have a infection or anything because its not painful to pee also ive been noticing more of a white discharge and somedays my breast or sore and others they feel perfectly normal.i get really nauseated when i smell certain foods.. ive also been feeling really fatigue and my pulse rate is 90. i know im having all the symtoms but i took a pregnancy test 3 times and all came out neg.i just took one a while ago -first response which should be able to detect 5 days sooner.. and it came out neg.. is something wrong with me?
