Here in Oklahoma the State pays for any high school senior to take college classes. I would jump on the opportunity! I did it my senior year and it shaved over a semester off of my actual college time. It also opens you up to meet new friends and have a better learning experiance. College proffesors have alot more liberties so their lectures can also be alot more interesting. I'd check with your high school and see if they will count some of the credits for your GE classes. I know my one government class got me both high school and college credit.

You can never beat free!! I am at one of the cheapest four year universities and I still pay $120ish per credit hour (approx $360 per class) Think of all the money you save!

yeah, I'm 15 and this is my second semester dual enrolling at the community college where i live. It's great, i'm working on getting my A.A. degree by the time i graduate from high school. Let your kid do it. It is so rewarding. And if you get 2 years of college out of the way while your still in high school, you only have 2 more years after you graduate from high school to go through. I'm gonna have my bachelors degree in Liberal Arts by the time I'm 19. Go for it.

YES YES YES!!! Im in college now and i think i will end up going to many, summer and mini-sessions and i still wont graduate in 4 years (im a nursing student). Everyone thinks that in 4yrs you will have a degree but normally it takes a about a semester or 2 more than that. So if you want to be ahead take the classes
