i'm not using birth control. my boobs are VERY sore and tender. i'm absolutely exhausted! i'm always sick to my stomach and get light headed every once in a while. i've been pregnant before and this is how i felt. however, i took a blood test and it was negative. i took it about a week before my period started. i also don't know if it's really considered a period. it was a little more than spotting but it was MUCH lighter than usual. was that pregnancy test a false neagtive? was it too early to tell? am i pregnant?

It is a possibility that you got a false negative, I would make an appointment with your OB to have a check up this way you know for sure. Just in case until then treat your body as if you were pregnant just to be on the safe side. I hope it turns out the way you want it too GOOD LUCK!! :)

I took 18 HPT and all were negative. Then I took a blood test and it was borderline. Finally 2 days later I got a positive. (Not all the HPT were on the same day either.) Yes it could be a false negative. Wait a few days and retest. Or call the doctor for a blood test. Good luck

Well, blood tests are usually conclusive, but there's no such thing as an error proof test, and one week before your period was pretty early. I'd take a home pregnancy test, if I were you. If it's still negative, but your symptoms persist, get checked out by a doc and ask for a second blood test.

Though highly unlikely (blood tests are 99.9% accurate) it could be a false negative. I would go to the pharmacy and get a simple urine pregnancy test & take that...if thats negative an appointment with an ob/gyn would be my advice to you. If you were pregnant he/she would be able to tell by examination and/or another blood test.

Could have been too early to tell. I would wait a lil while longer and then test again. If it still comes back negative then I would talk to your doctor and see if there may be something else going on. Good luck

Yes...you can get a false negative...especially if you took it too soon. Also the test itself could have been defective. I would take another, or go straight to the doc and let them do a proper test.
