Sometimes. For some women, this is one of the joys of pregnancy. My best friend did this with all four of her pregnancies; she was sooo embarassed. We were preggo at the same time, and between her farting and me belching like a truck driver....well, let's just say we could clear a room in no time.
Someone wiser than me once said, "Pregnancy is womanly, but it sure ain't ladylike."

I've been farting a lot more now than before I got pregnant. It's gotten to the point where my husband wants to make me ride on the trunk of the car and hook me up to the gas tank every time we go somewhere.

Flatulence can be a fairly gaseous situation, yes pregnant women do as they have more pressure on the internal organs.
