Pregnancy & Parenting - 9 January 2007

i'm overdue by 3 days already, and haven;t experienced any bodily changes. the babys head has been positioned down for about a month now. but was told that i haven;t dropped yet, (by others) since i'm carrying high. I don't know whats going to happen. Whats going on, this is my first baby. So how will i know, that i'm going into labor. Also, i consumed alot of caffeine during my pregnancy (tried to cutdown) could that be the problem?

I'm 28...healthy but a little overweight. NEVER been pregnant. My doctor says my insides are fine (I had my insides scanned for a different reason). My boyfriend has gotten women pregnant before, they had abortions. We have been together 6 years, we want a baby, we are getting old (especially him)!

MY period has been irregular most of my life. Sometimes it doesn't come at all, so I test and it's always "not pregnant". Does my irregular period mean I can not have a baby? I always want to ask my own doctor, but I'm afraid to hear the truth.
When I think about it I feel sad, I used to cry about it. My mom and his mom died before I got to conceive, that's the part that hurts me the most.

What should I do, maybe a fertility specialist, huh? Anyone out there with similiar issue?

I am 18 weeks and the last few days I have felt kicks off to the side.. a couple of inches to the side from where I thought the uterus would be... how far can he push the uterus off center??

She/he only does this when really swimming around and kicking and punching

Past couple weeks my bellly has been hard all the time when im walking .. but when i lay down it will get a little bit softer BUT during these past couple weeks my belly has been hurting a lot to. Its been a pain, not a sharp pain but and OUCHY!!!!!! pain. Its hard for me to get into bed and even harder to get out of bed. I can't sleep on any of my sides cause i hurts a lot and obviously i cant sleep on my belly or back.. i need so help and information on this please...

I gave birth on Sunday and started to breastfeed for the very first time shortly after. I didn't have a lactation consultant on hand to help out. I have been reading that breastfeeding should not hurt. Is this true? I'm afraid I might not have had her latch on correctly or deeply enough and now I'm so sore I don't want to breastfeed anymore.
