I have antiphosphilipid syndrome I take heparin to thin my blood I'm 23 weeks pregnant and just found out about 5 weeks ago about the disease I was wondering I have this blood clot atleast that is what it appears to be in my leg it has been there for 2 years and I've never mentioned it to the doctors or showed it to them it's in the back of my leg well it seems to have swollen it's sticking out more and I'm going to show it to my doctor today I was wondering if anyone thinks I'll get hospitalized or what they'll do I already have to give myself shots twice a day and I'm scared of what's going to happen if it is in fact a blood clot anyone with similar problems or thoughts about this would be appreciated.

It sounds as if you have a DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis). If you are NOT pregnant with a DVT, they admit you until it clears up. If you are pregnant, I am sure they will admit you.

A DVT can dislodge and head to your heart or brain with incredibly bad consequences. Take it seriously, lie down as much as possible until your MD appointment.

Good luck.
