The warm water is what does it. But you should be fine.....I'm sure lots of preggo girls, have slipped up and taken a much needed 20 min, steam up your bathroom, hot shower at some point in their pregnancy. I know I did. And my son came out full term just fine. And I slipped up more than once.

Also, in regards to the staying out of the pool after 3 months...that is a lie. It is in fact amzing exercise for preggo girls to be in the water. It helps them excercise alot of muscles at once without the extra weight ot slow yoiu down or cause you to strain yourself. Many docotrs recomend water aerobics for pregnant women, and you can do them up until the time that your water breaks. Only after your water breaks is it dangerous to be in a pool. (becasue at this time the water could reach the baby and take in anything that anyone in the water could be carrying. )

But I would not worry about that. I mean how many women think "OH OH OH< my water broke.....Hunny Let's go swimming?""?????

P.S. most public hot tubs are set at about 100 to 102 degrees and most things say that you should not go over a baby baths...and if anyone has ever read the baby bath thermometer it says the safe areas is 95 to 100 degrees and whats a few more to mommy?

The problem with jacuzzis is that they raise your body temperature which is not advisable during pregnancy. But I do believe you are fine and that the twinges are normal. I do not think you are more likely to miscarry as a result of going in the jacuzzi one time.

You'll be OK, stay calm, and try not to believe anything they write or say, if it were all true we shouldn't even breath while pregnant :))) As for what you're feeling inside...wait another month, then tell me about the earthquakes in your tummy:))) Of course it's normal, the baby's growing and beginning to move, and as the pregnancy goes on the baby gets stronger and moves more, my second daughter used to kick me so badly the last months that made me cry in my sleep, my husband stands for witness....good luck :))

I would see your doctor. It is very possible that damage occurred. There is an increased risk of birth defects in babies of women who had an increased body temperature during the first trimester of pregnancy. This of course does not mean it will happen to everyone.

you need to be talking to your doctor about this. I dont think it had anything to do with the twinges you are feeling although, you should check with your doctor about why you are getting them. Just stay out of the jacuzzi now.

Depends on how hot is was and how long you were in there, but you're probably fine. Talk to your doctor if you're concerned.
