Absolutly not.
They will almost certainly wake but crying isnt a forgone conclusion.
If they dont cry then you might find yourself failing to sleep and listening to see if you can hear baby breathing. Its difficult to do by the way so you wake baby up to reassure yourself hes ok.
Then all hell breaks loose and you feel a complete fool and baby thinks youre stupid and your wife calls you stupid but baby is ok and you you can go to sleep again.......if you can. lol

No...not all babies cry during the nite. Some babies are colicky...which means a fussy baby! And, some babies will wake you up every 2-4 hrs to eat! Just ask your pediatrician about this...he or she can help you diagnose what is causing the baby to cry and give ideas that can help cease or at least help to calm the baby!

No, not all newborns do this. My first did not. She would wake up to eat then fall back to sleep. My second would have a hard time going to sleep even though he was fed/changed, but he never woke up crying in the middle of the night.

No most newborns sleep alot and you need to wake the baby to feed it. Most newborns are rather quiet until about 1 month. Then they start to cry for bottles, attention, and a diaper change.

No. My son did for a feed every 4 hours, nappy change, etc. My daughter only cried if she hurt herself. I have to admit it was a shock & the 1st week or 2 I would actually go in to check she was ok. I do believe it has to do with how you are feeling emotionally. I was nervous with my 1st but not nervous when I had my 2nd.

Yes. Babies cry to communicate.
They need to wake to eat at night. Their tummies are tiny.....just the size of their fist.....and they need to eat frequently. They are trying to double their birthweight in 6 mos, which requires a lot of eating!
NOW.....if you cosleep and respond quickly to your child's needs, they will cry less often.
