Involuntary muscle movement, same thing they do when they 'accidentally' smile. They eventually learn new facial expressions then you don't get to see that Adorable "o" face much any more.

Because they are new everything is they are just getting used to the different things that they are learning to do and a 'o' lip is probably one of the easiest so they do it alot.

Its better not to ask 'why' on everything or look for meaning for all acts. Just look at it and ENJOY the natures' creations.

Because it's natural instinct for them to open their mouths to receive something to eat. They usually do that when somebody gets close to them.

i knw isnt it soooo cute...i love it...its just practice....all babies do it, i think it just something they do for the sake of doing it...but it just so cute
