I have always kinda liked Benjamin and Ben. I think it sounds nice, works well for all ages, Benny as a child, Ben or Benjamin as an adult. Very nice combo with the Elijah...sounds very nice together. Good luck!

Im not too keen on the Elijah part of the name. It doesnt seem to flow with the Benjamin. But to each his own I suppose. Good luck.

If you want to name your son after biblical figures then that is fine. Elijah was a prophet in Israel and Benjamin was the son of Jacob.

Sounds good. The 2 names don't exactly flow together, but that's not for me to decide! Benjamin Ellis? Good luck in picking out something !!

I don't prefer it but it is at least a real name. Too many wanna be parents are making up names for there kids and it is really annoying. A state or city is that, not a kids name, and quit putting letters together to try and form a name, how about ahydhnns for a boys name. Those people are stupid. Ben E. is a real name and I would respect you for that reason. Go for it.

I like your name, I have an Isabel!
I think you can't help how people will shorten your kids names. (My daughter gets "Izzie" from her friends.)
Would you like Ben or Benji? He'll only be Benjamin while he's little. I tried to pick names that wouldn't be shortened. My son is Elliot and I thought I might call him Eli, but we call him Elliot.

My stepdaughter is going to name her baby Benjamin also. I had never thought of using that name, but now after some research I see it is pretty popular.
