I am 27wks pregnant. At my ultrasounds to date baby has always had legs crossed so we've never found out the sex of baby. I wanted to know - but now i've decided its a "sign" and i'm not suppose to find out until i give birth! lol.
My fiance is in two minds about whether or not he wants to know - he does then he doesn't... lol.
We are contemplating getting a 4D ultrasound done to determine the sex.
Do you think we should keep it as a surprise or find out now?
We have already purchased everything for baby so we don't "need" to know for decorative purposes.

My fiance and I decided when we have kids we want it to be a suprise. I figure, after all that heaving and hoeing I have to do, It will be like a cool thing to know. I know the baby in itself is a reward, but I feel it makes it extra special when you hear, "it's a boy/girl." But, I like green for babies so I can go nuetral. If you want to know because of a nursery or something, then find out, but I say wait.

I wanted to find out, my husband didnt. And every ultrasound I had he always had his back to us or had his legs crossed. I had ultrasounds weekly from 14 weeks til I gave birth a month premature due to problems with my cervix. It wasnt until I was 31 weeks we saw a penis. We didnt even have to be told what we were looking it, he was showing us in all his glory. And for a man who didnt want to know, you'd never have been able to tell by the way he was acting!

Only you can choose if you want to know or not. I found out as soon as I could with both of mine(boys). My husband and I had to know. I want to know what colors to buy but mainly what to call the baby. Him or Her. And to find a names. It is easier to narrow down one name instead of two. It is up to you guys. If you want the surprise then wait. You are already this far. Good Luck.

This is a decision that only you and your partner should make. There is a fun thing called the Chinese Lunar Calendar that can "tell" you the sex of your baby, based your age at conception and a couple other things. If you want to check it out....

If it really matters to you then find out the sex. They can take a small amount of fluid and it will tell you with 99% accuracy the sex of the baby.

Its up to you. You said you have everything for the baby already, so keep it a suprise then. But if you want to find out then do so.

so this way u can pick out names and get all the bedding and clothes all ready for the baby also pick out the room color
