What do you do to relieve your back pain? My lower back hurts all the time (I think b/c I injured it last summer and the pregnancy is just aggravating it) and my upper back hurts b/c my breasts have grown 2 sizes so far, from a D to a DDD. I'm only 21 weeks, so I know I have a while to go yet. Please tell me what you do to alleviate your back pain. Thank you

I know sometimes its hard to pick up the heart beat ...then I also know my doctor initialy had picked up my own heart beat and realized after checking my pulse it was mine a few second later he picked up the nanies which was faster ...When I use it I pick it up in a few places so I find it hard sometimes to tell the difference of which is mine and which is the babies

I find out next week if i am pregnant and my husband works offshore, and he won't be home until Feb.7, but I was going to wait until Valentine's Day to tell him if i am. I would like any creative ideas of ways to tell him i am.Thanks for the help!

I am 25 years old, and my husband's co-worker has asked me to babysit his 2 kids (5 years old, and 18 months old) this Tuesday for about 5 hours at their house. No mention of payment has come up; should I charge them at all? I'm not some teenager doing this for extra pocket change... Its not like I'm a day care center worker. Should I still charge....? How much? When I was a babysitting teenager, I charged $3/hour, which seems like nothing now. Any suggestions/comments are appreciated! Thanks!!

i went to my doctor and he told me that my daughter is too big too deliver she is weighing 9 pounds at 38 weeks so he decided to have and elective c-section! i wante to know a few things how long will i be in the hospital? and do i have to pack anything more for a c-section?

I just find out yesterday that i was pregnant. I told my boyfriend, and he suggest that i should get an abortion, because we are too young to have our own baby (i m 22 and he's 25). Actually i do not think that we are too young, its just hes too lazy to find a job, well for the last few months he did try to search for job related to what he study, but it didnt work out. I really want to have this baby, because i'm scared of abortion, but i also want to give my baby the best things i can. I really dont know what to do now, is there any other way except for me to get an abortion??? I m very confuse right now....i dont know what i can do, sometime i hate my boyfriend for his decision, but i understand what hes thinking.....i just dont know what to do right now, at this moment....

I have 5 year old twin girls. For about the past week or so, one of them has been eating so much. She would be happy eating 24 hours a day. She has also been sleeping alot. I was just wondering if it was common for children who are going through a growth spurt to sleep more often. The babysitter said when she gets there in the morning she will go back to sleep for a couple hours, then she says shes tired later in the afternoon. Is this common?

When I use the bathroom, I've noticed that my urine is a lot lighter in color (even after sleeping an entire night, and waking up and using the bathroom first thing in the morning) but I haven't increased my water intake dramatically....if at all (I KNOW! I'm really bad about remembering it...I'm working on it).

Is this common in pregnancy (early pregnancy, especially. I'd only be about 2-3 weeks pregnant, if I am). Just wanted to know.

The only reason I ask, is because my urine is NEVER this light, unless I overdose on water. I've hardly drank any in the past week...other than like, a glass with my prenatal pill in the am. Thanks so much!

I had sex about a month ago on December 10th. My period was due that thursday (14th). It did not come. On that friday(15th) i had nausea and sore breasts. The nausea lasted 2 days and the sore breasts for 5 days (they did grow and are still that size). I took a pregnancy test 2-3 days late and came up negative(17th). 9 days after intercourse i felt a pain in my lower left abdomen that lasted 6 or 7 hours and never felt again. After 5 days of having sore breasts and nausea, my symptoms went away completely and that next thursday (1 week late for my period/11 days after intercourse) i bled on the heavier side for 2 days and the period or implantation bleeding stopped after 5 maybe 6 days (after 3 it almost stopped completely but continued the next day). It has now been over 4 weeks... i have no pregnancy symptoms, i am not tired.. only when i work and the only thing i have are headaches which i have always had even before now and my legs and feet get sore after workin for 2-3 hours.

I just found out I am pregant and do not know what to do!!!!
I have a wonderful boyfriend I am 31 years old have a stable job etc.....In the past he and I do talk about getting married and ahving children but this is not the way I wanted it. I wanted to get married and then have a family. I have not told him yet I wanted to weigh my options....I am so confused I can not think straight..

Please let me know your answers about when I might get pregnant.

I am almost 6 mths pregnant.
My period always was 28 days ( sometimes 27 or 29, but not likely).
I had sex on last day of my period (5th day of my cycle) and did not protect. Also I had sex on my 12th and 13th day of my cycle. We used interrupting method when he pulled. So we kind of protected ourselves.

Though, first ultrasound test showed that i got pregnant on my 10th day. Second ultrasound test showed that I got pregnant while
menstual period ( sex was on last day of period). Third ultrasound showed that I got pregnant before (!) my period, but it's not possible as I did not have any sex at that time.

1. Who knows which ultrasound test might answer better?

2. What do you think when did I get pregnant: on my last day of period (5 th day) or on 12 or 13th days of period?

This is mainly for the people who think it is okay to go against what the doctor says and give their baby rice cereal and other baby foods before age 4 months. Pediatricians, who are licensed doctors, say that feeding your baby any "solids" before 4 months of age can greatly increase food allergies and can also cause them to have digestive problems, since their digestive systems aren't formed enough to handle these. What makes you, someone who isn't a doctor, think that it is okay to go against this and risk your childs health? It's even pushing it mildly at 4 months, because msot doctors think waiting until 6 months is best. if your child isn't "eating enough", then feed the baby more. Feeding a baby before it can even hold it's head up can have serious reprecussions, and some of you diseregaurd that because you want to, and it's ridiculous. I'm not trying to be mean, but you need to think about your child's heath first and foremost. Anyone agree?

I can't find anything similar to the old Sears Toughskin jeans which my sons wore as boys; nearly indestructible (reinforced knees). Our very slender boy needs the length, but the waists are HUGE. Cute little suspenders are not to be found either! Gerber used to make plastic pants to be worn over cloth diapers. They had three snaps on the front of each side. Is there any such thing available today...not all children wear disposable diapers. Help, please! Thank you so much! " dottievan"
