I find out next week if i am pregnant and my husband works offshore, and he won't be home until Feb.7, but I was going to wait until Valentine's Day to tell him if i am. I would like any creative ideas of ways to tell him i am.Thanks for the help!

i have been ttc for 3yrs and so I have thought a lot about this. The way I plan to tell my husband is a scavenger hunt. Start it at where we met and go to other places that were and are special. I want to end up at a baby store we go to looking now. I will be there with a card that says congrats daddy. I know its corny but hey we have worked hard. Btw my husband works on a rig too I understand. Congrats.

One way to let him know is to take a pregnancy test (positive of course) wrap it in a cool box. Cook a great dinner and when it is time to share gifts, give him the wrapped box with the positive test. Or you can leave hints, clues pointing him to a certain spot in the house where he will meet balloons and a sign that says 'We're Pregnant!".

With my second baby I was able to tell my husband on valentine's day. I wrapped up a baby pacifier and gave it to him. He was nicely surprised. My alternate idea was to put a bow on my belly!

Hold off until Valentine's day. Then buy a big bottle of champagne. As hubby gets ready to pour, simply say, "none for me until (due date). I guarentee he'll be confused and say, "why?" Then you can tell him and he can drink the champagne. Have some sparkling cider for you so you two can toast the new addition.
