yes, especially if you believe in such a thing as big brother. Take this site for example. Yahoo now know that I have logged on to their site and have my ip address because I don't use a proxy server to disguise it. So they know which country my pc is located. They could then use that information to find out from where I made the connection but this depends on courts and the the law of the country you are.
So, Yes Big Bro is watching but that's all they can really do;)

The U.K. has more C C T V cameras than any other country, if to go shopping in a large town, you will be recorded on average 300 times in one day! this scares me and it should scare you!. Also, on the news today the government want to set up a huge single computer database with ALL your details on it, NOW that is Scary!
