Sounds like a sinus infection. Green mucus is usually a sign of infection; blood in mucus sounds like a serious sinus infection. Was the cough medicine to dry up her chest? Take her in first thing Monday, unless she is still running a high fever.

Since the symptoms have changed, it might be a good idea to take her back to the doctor so that he can re-evaluate . He may now want to give antibiotics or a different medicine.
If her condition really gets bad, take her to the emergency room -- I mean if she has trouble breathing or something like that.

yes either take her back to the doctors or if you are really worried take her into your local emergency room tell them what has been going on and they will be able to help her or if you have an ask a nurse line, most hospitals do, then call them first thats what I have done they are registered nurses and would be able to tell you if its just mommy worry or if it is something that needs to get looked at now. Hope this helps you. hope she feels better I will keep you in my thoughts. :(

sounds like your little girl has a sinus infection which had drained for a while in her throat, all the coughing made her throat sore. and resulted in an upper respritory infection or possibley bronchitis. Yes, go back

Better safe than sorry, she may have had a virus to start then picked up something else while her immune system was weak.
Make sure she's getting enough fluids until you get her back to the doctor. Good Luck!!

I would definitely call first thing in the morning if I were you. Since her symptoms have changed since you last saw the Dr. It would be wise to take her back to get some antibiotics.

I was always told clear or yellow is viral, green is bacterial. It may have started off as viral and went to bacterial, and yes I would get them in. They need antibiotics! Hope they get well soon!!
