Afterall, we are all one and want to be one, right? This will give the kids something to do while their mother is actually NOT on the couch. I think this idea is grand.

With the exception of abuse why would women do this? Im mainly asking women who do and who do it to "get him back". Seriously,if I split with my husband for anything other than abuse, I would be very angry if he didnt spend just just as much time with them. Their still his kids. Every other weekend dosent cut it. Every day, just an hour and time on weekends and every couple weeks(or something) the two parents should be together with their kids, these kids still love their parents even if you hate each other, they should still have their "family" once in a while.
You may be single but your not childless.

I have my dr. appt. today. I am 4 months along. Will they be able to tell me if it's a boy or a girl? I also have another ultrasound in 2 weeks. I was told I was going to an ultrasound specialist at 18 weeks pregnant because those machines are much better and can really take a good look at the baby. The one at the normal doctor's office is quite small and not very clear. Has anyone gotten an ultrasound with the "BIG Machine" as they call it?

I have been told since giving birth to my son 2 yrs ago, that my uterus is tilted. Aparently it wasn't before delivery, but now it is. I'm trying to conceive again, but curious if this will affect my pregnancy or delivery at all?

According to my daughter's doctor, she is 10 weeks along, which right now is impossible. She went in yesterday-(we're thinking she's more like 4 - 6 weeks) for an Ultrasound. Since her doctor did not see anything, her doctor is claiming an abnormal pregnancy and given my daughter a 50/50 chance of possibly losing it anyway. If my daughter is only 4 - 6 weeks along, the baby will not show up yet on an Ultrasound, right? When I had my kids-(5 of them), they always listened to the heartbeat first......then, about a month later did an Ultrasound. My daughter's period was exactly 2 weeks early and she's not had one since. She went thru pregnancy tests and a blood test and finally found out she's pregnant. Now, this doctor is trying to tell her she's probably got an abnormal pregnancy and looking at the possiblilty of "cleaning" my daughter out through surgery. Her doctor is talking about giving it another WEEK and checking again. Well, this has my daughter upset, naturally. Any suggestions?

I found some disturbing evidence that my 17-year-old son might be a drug mule. The other night, I saw what I think was a corner of a plastic bag of white powder sticking out of his anus. I don't want him to know how I found out. What should I do?

My wife and I (in our mid 20's) have been together for 5 years, and she has wanted a baby for about 2 years now. About a year ago we decided to plan for our first baby, we bought safe cars, paid off all our debt, traveled, did home improvements, etc. We decided to start in January 2007 because our house will be paid off in August 2007 and we will have plenty of money for a baby.

My wife has been getting more anxious lately about trying for a baby. We have 3 more months before our “starting” date and she is getting moody with me because she feels she has been waiting for years and the last few months have been torture for her. Two of her friends (been with their boyfriends for less than 2 years) are pregnant, so now she is more upset then ever.

How do I get her to be patient for the last 3 months? I am excited too, but she is way anxious to start and I feel bad for telling her no, but we need to wait until January. I want all my ducks in a row before we start trying!

Help me!

We know that there are some factors which accelerate human spermatogenesis (the simple discovery that the partner has sex with a different individual makes the discoverer produce more sperm). my curiousity was if there are some factors which could make the female ovulate earlyer, or maybe twice a month.

I took the morning after pill 3 weeks ago and stupidly carried on having unprotected sex with my partner up until last weekend. Could I be pregnant? And if so, how likely is it? Another thing is that I suffer from extremely irregular periods, not sure if that's relevant.

I need to buy a convertible car seat for my five month old son who is growing out of his infant carrier. I was thinking about getting the Britax Marithon, but I'm not sure about it. I read an earlier posts that said your child might get sick of being in a car seat as they get older (when they like four or so). Would I be better off buying a Britax model that will hold my son until 40 pounds and then buying a booster seat later on? That's probably what I will do, but what do you folks think?
