I have been told since giving birth to my son 2 yrs ago, that my uterus is tilted. Aparently it wasn't before delivery, but now it is. I'm trying to conceive again, but curious if this will affect my pregnancy or delivery at all?

It depends on many different factors. I had a sister-in-law who had many difficulties due to a tilted uterus. The shape of the uterus can be a factor. If it is not the normal pear shaped uterus, conceiving and carrying to term can be difficult. I met a woman with a heart shaped uterus and she miscarried multiple times before she delivered her baby. With a titled, it can make conceiving a little difficult. A different position may increase you chances. If it is titled a forward, a hand and knee position is better. If it is tilted backwards, a missionary position is better. I hope you have the best of luck at concieving. Also, it helps to relax when you conceive. Stress decrease the chance of conceiving.

I too have a tilted uterus. It took me 11 months to concieve. i attempted some suggestion (that I initially concept sounded stupid - notwithstanding it could or won't have been the considerable, that is worth a shot superb?) the advice i become given is that because of fact your uterus may be tilted forward (extremely of the final backwards tilt) you need to opposite the advice of laying on your lower back with a pillow under you bum for 20 minutes or longer, i all started laying on my abdomen with the pillow under me and have been given pregnant superb away, like I pronounced it might have been a accident notwithstanding that is worth a shot. (and as quickly as I did this I have been given pregnant, and were attempting for 10 months previous to this) reliable success!! i'm hoping you get your BFP quickly! *edit* knkim02 - having a tilted uterus would not make it greater durable for the surgeon to take heed to the heart beat, your uterus is going to "commonplace" because it grows throughout being pregnant, it additionally would not reason miscarriage. brwneyed - please do no longer enable those solutions scare you, human beings do have miscarriages all of the time notwithstanding that is not any longer because of this subject.

Not really.
I also have a tipped or tilted uterus. It can sometimes make it difficult for them to hear the heartbeat early in pregnancy. As the baby grows and the weight in your uterus increases, the uterus should then move into a "more normal" position.
You could try seeing a massage therapist who does cranial sacral therapy. When I was PG, my tipped uterus evidently turned back to the "normal" position right after I started getting regular massages and cranial sacral work done.

It will not affect you at all.
This is perfectly normal.
Some women have a tilted uterus before even giving birth to one child.

My mom had that and got pregnant with me and my sister just fine. Well, it took my parents 2 years to get pregnant again with my sister. But once she got pregnant, the pregnancy and birth went very smoothly.

It shouldnt, my 17 year old daughter has a tilted uterus, our OB/GYN said it was because of sex. (she has protected safe sex and uses birth control) also was told it possibly depends on size of the male and how rough of sex ya have. but its best to ask your dr. good luck in conceiving :)
