Yes, your uterus is just contracting. As long as there is no pain along with that, then it is perfectly normal. Your body starts contractions shortly after conception, but you shouldn't feel anything (besides the hard rock in the belly) until about 7-8 months when the Braxton Hicks contractions start. Good Luck!

I think so..My tummy does that right before I go to bed...and sometimes during the afternoon...its just the baby moving in a certain position....I am 17 weeks almost 18,...I just felt him kick today for the first time IT WAS AWESOME....dont worry..its not braxton hicks...or anything crazy like that....its just your baby moving positions..you will start to notice that more often now..because the baby is starting to get big enough to notice or feel when he or she moves..good luck

It is absolutely normal. Our uterus's contract throughout our entire pregnancy. We just don't realize it. Different things such as walking, changing positions, even going to the bathroom can signal a hardening. I would not worry. It just means that your body is doing what it should. Getting strong and ready for you to have your baby in 5 months. The only time to be concerned is if you start to see bleeding, have regular contractions that "hurt" or if you have fluid coming from your vagina.

Yep--sounds like Braxton Hicks. These are "practice" contractions that you'll have the rest of your pregnancy. Your body is practicing for your labor. As you get further along, they may be more uncomfortable...but they shouldn't be painful. There's no need to worry unless they're associated with labor pains. You'll also find that your uterus will harden after you have an orgasm.
Hope this helps!

Yes that is perfectly normal. Sometimes it's the baby, gas or after you have eaten it is the baby eating. There are all types of reasons that your stomach would get hard.

yes i get that all the time. however i don't recall having that feeling at 4 months but you can have what they call "braxton hicks contractions" they are not the true labor contractions. don't worry though, everything's perfectly normal.

just some braxton hicks...also your baby could be pushing up against your stomach for a bit. Very normal, not to worry. But you can also talk to your doc. about it if you would like.

Yes. You can get Braxton Hicks contractions in your second trimester. You should be fine but if they become painful discuss it with your healthcare provider. Good luck.
