I have a job but only making minimum wage. And am trying to get my own place is there anyone who knows anything about a grant that could help me in this?

Don't move out until you can afford it!! You and your child need a roof over your head and a safe place to live.
Try to learn a skill/trade and get a better job.

If your family is willing to help you this way & it doesn't cause too many problems, then count your blessings.
Don't be too quick to move out on your own or you just might find yourself in the same situation again.
Only apply for Welfare as a last resort.
Better still, check with the colleges in your area about low-income grants. Chances are, you'd qualify for some kind of assistance. I've also included some links to sites that might be helpful. Be careful, however, with educational aid websites. Some of them are outright scams.
I stress education because this is your best bet in the long run. Your chances are good while you're still young.

The only grant I know of is welfare. Can you find a job making more or work more hours? Are you in school?

go back to school...get a real job....save..move out...or go find a sugar daddy....my wife did...me
