Your pelvic bones and hips spread some. Your ribs expand a little bit also. Some people's feet spread. This is all because of a hormone (I think it is called relaxin). It loosens the ligaments and tendons throughout your body. Your bones will probably never go completely back to the pre-pregnancy position. However for the most part it won't be noticeable to anyone else but you, because you know how your pre-pregnancy clothes fit before and after. If you are a teen the spread will be a lot more noticeable than if you are in your 20's or older. This is because the maturation process spreads our pelvis and hips in our late teen and early 20's years...specifically to prepare our bodies for childbirth. Hope this helps.

Ok... what I'm gonna show you might freak you out a little... its two pictures of me from behind... before I got pregnant (110 pounds... 5'1...) and a picture of me from behind at 8 months pregnant (at 140... it was a 30 pound weight gain)... doesn't look good... BUT don't worry! You will shrink back down. Your bones only expand to make room for the baby. Once the baby is no longer inside of you, your bones will go back to normal.

Its all for your baby though! Don't try to stop your body from changing. Its only temporary.
