if a baby was born premature (21) weeks lived 5 hours and dies can the father be held accountable if he beat the mother prior to giving birth?

Well my parents are both from asia and i was born here in US and if any of you dont know, asian parents are very strict. I've been smoking weed for about 2 years and i'm not sure whether i should tell my parents or not. I dont think my parents know much about weed except its in the "drug" catagory and if its in the "drug" catagory it is not good. I even told my parents that i smoke ciggarettes and luckily they weren't VERY angry, just a little dissapointed and i'm pretty sure all of you know that ciggarettes are way worse then weed. What do you guys think i should do? I hate hiding that i smoke weed and going through all this stress everyday. I am an educated individual and i have researched the topic of marijuana before i tried it out. I know what it does and what it doesen't do to your body. I know how the government portrays it in bad way. I'm just asking the opinion of other parents on what i should do.

Too not see a guy?I am 18 years old only ever had one bf that i really loved this year he was my first everything and well he got me pregnant and left me twice i lost the baby at 5 months i called to tell him since are contact was non existant. I tried being friends because we are going to the same college but a few weeks ago his gf told me to leave him alone he apologized and then said he never wanted to see me again. I met this new guy who really liked me was sweet and gentle but i am just not attracted to him like i was my ex. bf i still love my ex.bf. I think this new guy and i could be friends but i know he wants to date me. Is is rong to tell him its my moms fault i cant date him?

Im 24 weeks. I work full time and be standing all day 8 hour shift. People tell me that if you stand a lot you will have your baby ahead of time. Is this true or is it another old wives tale??

I am nearly 36 yrs old and have no children. I was told that I don't ovulate (but I have cycles) then I was told I have endomitriotis and displacia. I may have had one misscarrige a few years back, but have not been pregnant before.

Has anyone here been told they could not have kids or just never got pregnant until later in life?

m'kay he is a 5'10, 17 yr. old male. i'll admit he used to be fit yet over the summer he slacked off & wit the help of his diet of sweets, binges, lack of exercise, etc. etc. he put on around 55lbs. -sighs-

i now weigh around 217+ lbs. (he went from the 55th to the 96th percentile for his weight) & if he keeps gaining like he has i dunno what to do. the only weird thing is 31in. jeans used to fall off of him. now i bought him a 36 or 38 in. belt & it wont even fit around him completely! he also has stretch marks on my upper thighs & side of my bulging belly (that is starting to hang) he almost have "moobs" & i can go on & on.

so in your opinion is he fat, just right or underweight?

he's currently @ a boarding school & i'm worried to death he'll come home bigger than ever!! what shall i do??

..hope I didn't lose everybody right there! I just found out today that my son (6) has not been buying milk at school, instead he's been giving a quarter a day to another little boy. He says sometimes the other boy asks him for it, sometimes he just gives it. (I should point, out, this is NOT a "buying friends" scenario. He has plenty of friends already, he just likes giving people things.)

So I told him he must not do this again. He said OK, but why? (After all the kids sometimes share a leftover cookie from lunch, a drawing, etc.) To me it's very obvious what the diference is, but when I tried to explain why it's not only bad manners but wrong, I think I confused him with abstractions that belong more to the adult world.

I would love it if anyone could come up with a good way for me to break down this concept for a 6-year-old. Thanks so much..

my kids don't seem to want to listen to me or my husband. They think that we are kidding with them all the time. If we try to discipline or yell, they just sit and cry, but still don't listen. I have not had a period for almost 3 months now.

They are usually always regular.
I have not been under any stress.
I have not gained or lost an excessive amount of weight.
I dont do sports.
I did have unprotected sex about 4 months ago but I've taken several tests and they were negative.

Occasionally I'll get period like cramps and my left ovarian area will ache. i get back aches occasionally and some other kind of pains in my lower abdomen but thats it. its nothing unbearable.

What could be wrong?

Also, i dont have insurance and no one really responds much on here so thats why i keep asking this question.

I decided to post in pregnancy because you guys seem the most knowledgable on periods and such.

I am 6 in a half months pregnant and I have been having really bad problems with my hips. When I sit down lay down or even stand up they pop really bad. I do my stretches that the doctor tells me to do but it just sends pain thru my back. And it hurts just as bad. Is this normal or could there be something wrong???????

I have taken 3 hpt's all negative. But I know I'm pregnant, I urinate quite frequently, I have completly missed my period, and at least once a day I feel sick to my stomach no matter what I eat, and I'm constantly tired, Oh and I'm always hungery too and thats not normal, I can't get a blood test till next monday, cause there's no opening's, anyway help me out here I need some releaf I want a Baby so I really want to know and so does my BF and mom. I want to get on the pill. My mom gave me the name of her gyno, and i'm going to call her. But I don't want my mom to know. I feel akward. And I don't want her to think differently of me. My 3 month old will completely finish off a 4oz bottle of formula. Should I add cereal to it, or make it 6 oz instead of 4?

Also, I heard you arent supposed to add cereal anymore, but make it seperately? Is this true?

My mother always told me when I was pregnant that the most important thing is to keep the baby on a schedule. I have been feeding my baby solids when I wake up around 8am, 2pm, 7pm. Lately she usually starts to cry around 6pm, so I give her a bottle to hold her over until 7. My father has been on my case about being a bad mother because I won't feed her an hour early. My reason is because she gets tired and wants to sleep after she eats, but she will wake up around 3am if she goes to sleep at 7. Am I wrong in just giving her the bottle to tide her hunger for an hour or should I break the schedule I have her on?

I am 38 weeks and for a few weeks off and on I have been experiencing a pain like the baby is cutting his way out with a knife. Since Sunday morning it has been constant and nothing helps. the doctor gave me vicodin and it wont even help anymore. she says it is just growing pains witch could be because he is over 8 pounds already.has anyone ever experienced this? It is so painful I cant walk without hunching. I can't sleep, in a bed or a recliner. It is PAINFUL!!!
