I want to get on the pill. My mom gave me the name of her gyno, and i'm going to call her. But I don't want my mom to know. I feel akward. And I don't want her to think differently of me. I'm not exactly sure where the place is, I don't want to ask her, and I don't really have the money to pay for it on top of all the other bills I have to pay. What should I do??

Instead of getting on the pill why not use aspirin? Simply take one aspirin and place it between you knees lengthwise in a seated position any time you are naked with a guy. Now make sure what ever happens you DO NOT DROP THE ASPIRIN!
My god, if you think you are old enough to have sex then you should have the ability to go to the gynocologist and pay for the pill. If not consider the bills you would have if the pill fails or is not used and you have unprotected sex. Based on your question you are not mature enough to be having sex. (Age has nothing to do with how mature you may THINK you are.)

If your Mom already gave you the name of her gyno it means she knows you are going to go see the doctor at some time or another, it means she trusts you and so you should trust your mom not to think differently of you. You are about to take a big step into adulthood, then you should be able to talk about it like and adult and not a scared kid, give your mom some credit and try to talk to her. If that still doesn't work for you, you can check for local free clinics in your area.

Tell her you want to be on the pill to help regulate your cycle,or be open with her and let her know you want to be responsible.Sex is overrated,so be carefull you dont want to be stuck with the responsibility of a child when some guy decides it's not his or isn't ready for children,or just decides to be a scumbag and dog you just for a few moments of pleasure.Kids cost a lot of money and take all your time to raise them properly.The world is filled with unhappy children left in the wake of irresponsible people

Better safe than sorry...just find another gyno if you dont feel comfortable with that one. Youll be fine. What would mom think if she were finding out she was a GRANDMA instead??

Call your local health department & set up an appointment. They usually give bc pills free. But you have to go through an exam and couseling to get them. But that is nothing compared to getting pregnant if you're not ready to.

You should have a free clinic that deals with sexually active teenagers in your area. They will see people of all ages, and also have counsellors to set you up with any type of pill. Your family doctor should also be able to help you out.
