We have a 8 month old, a 2 year old, and a 3 year old that would being babysat while our 5 year old is at school...They would being watched for 2-3 hours at a time 2 or 3 times a week...We live in the metro-east of St. Louis..In other words the Illinois suburbs of St. Louis if that makes a differnce in price...

My doc has adviced me not to have intercourse till the second trimster completes.Is it true that if placenta is low,c-secton is more likely rather than a normal delivery.Pls help me as I dont wanna go for c-section.I even want to know the do's and don'ts in this circumstance.

My son is almost 3 and it is so difficult to get him to eat the right kind of foods. Up to about 3 months ago he wasnt so bad but now all he wants to eat is chicken nuggets, chips, spaghetti or yoghurt. Any ideas on how i can get him back to eating healthier foods? Even just something else!

My friend is giving me parenting advice non stop because she's been reading a parenting book written by a Nun (of all people to talk about being a parent) and she isn't even a mom herself! I have a 2 year old who is just like every other 2 year old. She doesn't want to eat, she throws fits etc.. But anyone will tell you that I'm a great mom and that my daughter is happy and a sweetheart. I'm sick of being told " Don't feed her this, don't ever do that.. don't punish ever!" I keep thinking "Just wait until theres a dirty diaper smeared across your kitchen wall or your kid is having a tantrum in the store and you are forced to leave" I would never ever spank my daughter but my friend is going so far as to tell me never to even give time outs. Who is she to give me this advice? She's been married for barely a year and has no idea what parenting is like. She's driving me nuts!!!

i was rapped by my x on friday my period had went off like a week or two before that. he had nutted in me but i got up and of course beat his *** afterwards. ( cuzz he was supposely calling himself loving me what kind of person loves a gurl and rapes her) but anywayz could i be prego i have had : frequent urination, senstive smell, gain weight, some cramping, breast tenderness ( some) , i don't know if i missed my period i think i have to wait till next month, discharge, bitchy, and very emotional( but i think that is from my real boyfriend leaving for the army and my x not wanting to take the baby in.

Ok here's the thing, my partner and I are trying for a baby and I am pretty sure we have done it this month (waiting a few more days before testing), but I have some pregnancy signs, like running to the bathroom almost all the time, my nipples are a little darker and I am feeling sick quite often. The only thing I dont have are sore breasts. Does the symptom come later or should I have that before I find out I am pregnant? If anyone could advise I would be grateful

I am 28w1d and I have been losing (what I think is) my mucous plug. It's like clumps of white/clear discharge. It is extremely thick and I have had this 4 times and the size of it is pretty big (bigger than a quarter). I have also been having these pintching cramps in my vagina. It feels like someone is sticking their hand up there and pintching something. and the last thing is, It feels like she keeps kicking me in my cervix...but I feel her feet up by my ribs... What's going on??

My 7 year old thinks that whining is the cure for everything... my son is six years old .We are a christain family and have worked very hard with our son.Our son has these outrages to where he hits me hurts him self and our members of the family.We love him dearly we are also working with the school.He is adhd .This morning he got very upset allb/c he had to wear these jeans.I feel like I am at my wits end.We have a little girl she is 5 she does not act like this.Need some good ideas to try with him or a websit so I can maybe I can read up on I am an open minded person .He does good in school. I have just started charting my BBT and cervical mucus ( reading the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility) The first day of my cycle was yesterday but i started at night so I didnt get the first day temp...this is day #2 and I did my temp before doing ANYTHING else..and my question is for the people who chart their temps and know more about it than me telll me if 96.4 ok? i know you cant completely put your life on hold while you're trying and have had a drink or three on a couple of occasions so far but what about going on a night out drinking? could this be risky if you're in the early stages of pregnancy but not aware of it?

I follow the questions here ragarding spanking of children and also asked before for what reasons people do that. It looks these people think their kids will do many terrible things if they don't spank them. I think mostly these people were themselves raised by this method and don't know what else to do. It also looks they have a low opinion on the intelligence of their kids and think force is what they understand best.
I was never physically punished as a child, I was also not arrested in my room and I didn't do any terrible things, and I also know that this is the case with many other kids. I feel that physical punishment of children must be something very wrong. But I don't have kids myself and so the only examples I can give of how to do it different are my own childhood experiences and what I heard from others. So I would like parents who don't spank to contribute to this discussion and to show alternatives.

1st of all thx a lot for ur support U guys are doing gr88 job. last month I had relation wid my husband one day prior to ovalation, and weighted cross fingured but all in vein I got my periods on 20 August...again I tried this month i.e. on days 10-15 (of my cycle) but this time I felt something different....hmmmm a pinch like feeling on my navel and also I got spoted , not exactly spoted but a traces of blood in white discharge (like egg white ) this happened after 5 days of my fertile day, IS THAT IMPLANTATION BLEEDING? when shd I check for my preg? shall i weight for 20 sept or can check now? plzzzzzzzzz help.

My seven year old is popular with the nieghborhood kids and they all want to come and visit. In and out, tracking dirt, leaving "stuff" laying around, and trashing his room. Also... my roommate has a three year old that can't sit still and trails things all over the house. In the living room I can call them on it... but my son and I are always cleaning up rediculously huge messes in his room.

I've threatened to give his toys away, suggested he not let his buddies come over so much. It is a continous battle. I try not to get mad... but I get really sick and tired of going over this with him. Not sure how to handle the three year old, whom I babysit frequently. He leaves a trail in his wake. I'm very near banning him from my sons room entirely... but that's where I send him when he has tantrums... and the little noise box could spare me a headache some days by playing in the other room. Love them all verry much... I just feel like the kids maid sometimes. What to do?
