It would be a good idea if you went to the doctor:)

It is probably too soon to tell. When were you due to start your period?
To give you some perspective, I'm now 7 months pregnant, I did a test when I was 3 days late (well, 2 tests lol), 2 different kinds both claiming to give "early results" even before your period is due, and both were negative. But I was also feeling really weird so I went to the doctor and he did a blood test and it was positive.
I think you should go to the doctor and make sure. If it's negative, there are other things that could make your period be late - I also used to be regular like clockwork, but one month I was almost 4 days late (that was before I got married, wasn't sexually active so I knew I wasn't pregnant) and it turned out I had an ovarian cyst.

You should add how long it has been since you missed your period. Typically a test can work 5 days before your missed period. I would take it 1 week after your missed period. Our minds and bodies are weird we can miss our period because of stress or many other reasons, if you hae recently moved or are haning out with a new friend a lot your period can change, for some reason if a few women live in the same house our bodies automatically change until all the women in the same house have their period at the same time Good Luck

You may need a blood test to check to see. Some ppl never get a positive from a pregnancy test even when they are pregnant. A pregnancy test only test of rhte hormone that is present when you are pregnant and your hormone may be weak. Also you can miss your period for a number of other things. Stress being only one of them. Hope this helps some.

home tests usually take at least 2 weeks after the first day of your period should have been to be able to give a accurate result. also its best to do a early morning sample of urine ( first pee of the day) for the test and that will contain the most pregnancy hormone. Most Dr's make you wait around the same amount of time but you can buy one test that you can use right from the first missed day of your period but im sorry i cant remember which one it is but if you go to your local chemist they will know.

I've read your other questions & would have to say you ARE under stress (you claim that you're bf & you are fighting, claiming that he's smoking pot & this bothers you, wondering if you should leave him).
When you're under stress or not eating properly it will show up in your whole body, wait another week or two & try the test again (to rest your mind).
My period has been up to 3-4 weeks late & I wasn't pregnant.

Go to the doctors and get a blood test done or just wait a few more weeks and do another test

Definatly go to a family planning facility...they are the best to go to...they will help through the whole process if you are...also you might need to get a blood test done if you feel like that, because sometimes you cant tell if you are pregnant through a urine test...good luck

You may just have an infection. That can throw your period off. So can stress. Give it another week then test again. But your best bet is to see a doctor.

It maybe too early, you may be better buying a pregnancy test that can tell you days before you're due on your period.
