Call daycare's in the area, and inquire as to what they charge per kid. Your children are little, and require a lot of care. You'll want someone who is very experianced with young children, so asking a teenager is out of the question. They get easily frustrated, and the children are at a very trying age, especially with 3 of them all at the same spot.

Once you have numbers from a day care, try and find another mom or an older adult who is willing to watch them, and offer them half of what the day care charges. If they want more, go up some.

Basically- what can you afford? I mean, if you are going to work for minimum wage, you'll be paying more than that for the babysitting, so is it worth it?

You could just go with something like $2.25/hr, per kid. For a 3 hour day, that's roughly $20.

If you are lucky enough to have a good Babysitter, hang on to them!
Those ages are tough babies to handle and need constant supervision, and for that you should be paying a babysitter at least 200.00 a week.
No less than 150.00, and that is being conservative.

It does not matter where you live, taking the responsibility of watching three children, anywhere is enormous, and they should be compensated for it.
Good Luck, I hope you have found someone that you completely Trust, and have Faith in.

I'd expect to pay up to $100-$150 a week. The price should also depend on location and the amount of recreation for the kids and whether or not the price includes food.

ok, so you are looking at a minimum of 4 hours/max of 9 multiplied by 3 kids. you want to be fair to both you, and the other person. most sitters these days get anywaher from $5/hour to minimum wage. altho in some places, sitters charge $5/hour/child, so you could be looking at a possibilty of up to $15.00/hour. maybe check the classifieds for babysitters and see if any have a "drop off" or minimum time they will watch them.

That depends. Are the 2 and 3 year old potty trained.

I'd say $6/hr per kid who is NOT potty trained and $5/hr per kid who IS potty trained.

pay them at the very least the minimum wage for your area. if you really trust them, and they take good care of your children, and your children like them, pay them more. a good babysitter is indispensible.
