No it shouldn't be dangerous. Ultrasound is one of the safest diagnostic test forms.

From what I've read, there is some proof that the ultrasound could have an impact on the baby's cells, but no conclusive research yet on whether or not it is harmful. I'm 7 months and have been doing a monthly scan on my little one, and will continue to do so until she is born. To me, the reassurance of seeing her move and knowing she's OK weighs more than the possible slight chance of the ultrasound being detrimental.

Ultrasounds are in no way harmful for your baby. The only thing that it may be is annoying to him/her. An ultrasound is sound waves that bounce back and forth in your uterus, the computer detects where the sounds bounce back and it creates an image, your baby. So the sounds can annoy the baby that is why sometimes the little guy really starts kicking and moving around in there. Good Luck and Congrats on your bundle of joy!!!!

Very regularly occurring. on the workplace I worked at, they often would attempt to hold off till approximately 7 weeks. it actual relies upon on the attitude of your uterus whether that is totally undemanding to no longer see something at that factor. i'd ask for a keep on with up ultrasound at 7 weeks. lots of folk difficulty that the being pregnant is lost and lose wish or have a D&C while the ultrasound is preformed too early. there remains diverse wish for you. sturdy success with the beta blood assessments. If those numbers are doubling, you're able to be sturdy! verify they take extra desirable than one pattern of the blood assessments, they could do it another day, atleast 2-thrice.

No way is this dangerous for either baby or you. It actually is the best way to make sure your baby is doing fine!! I tried to have an ultra sound every time I went to the doctor. The thrill of seeing my growing baby was awesome!!!

No, it shouldbe be perfectly ok.

Our baby had tons of ultrasounds done because of my age (I was 35) and because I refused an anmiocentesis and had a nuchal translucency instead which uses ultrasound ot look for the markers of birth defects.

We had a total of 12 ultrasounds done throughout my pregnancy, and out baby turned out just peachy!

if they are needed in the case of a high risk pregnancy then you must go ahead and have them but if they are just for you, then no dont have them as they are still not 100% sure if they can harm the babies hearing in anyway

Ultrasound is not harmful AT ALL: it's not invasive.
It's actually a good thing. You get to know how the baby is doing, you'll see the sex, you'll see him/her moving, he'll get measured and all the rest. You can get pictures to show your son when he grows up! My daughter loves those pics!!!
Don't worry.

probably not, I wouldnt do it unless you had concerns, it is a safe proceedure, but continual exposure may not be a good thing.

as with everything, it may not be evident until later if it causes any problems, i guess its a little like mobile phones, we all know it radiates power, but we choose to use it because the experts say it is safe, time will tell i guess
