Apart from the extermination camps, obviously. I mean as tactical or strategic weapons. I'm aware that the Italians used some in Ethiopia, and the Japanese experimented with it a lot, and that both Germany and Russia had substantial stocks of such material. So why wasn't it used?

I bought a WWI doughboy helmet and it appears to be painted very dark blue almost black. What type of helmet is this? I have never seen one this color.

If you ever fall in love with someone in the military, chances are good you will be separated at some point. My husband and I met two and a half weeks before he to move to Pensacola, Florida - a seven-hour drive from Memphis, where I lived. We then decided to try to do the long distance thing. Once a month, one of us would try to drive to the other's home. We did this for three years. Because I had a job where I could take vacation time whenever I wanted, usually I did the traveling. But, before you start to feel too sorry for me, remember that I got to leave Memphis and visit a beach town each month!
Separation can be hard, but you can live through it. We were lucky because we were in our thirties when we met and had both done the party/dating thing. One thing that is important is you need to be committed to making the relationship work - both of you! So what do u think? Just tell me!!

Hi I'm currently debating either joining the Navy or Army National Guard. The Navy called today and said that I was approved by MEPS to physical and then send off for a waiver since my RE code is a 3. The Army National Guard has already sent my medical documents off the get a waiver approved before my physical the recruiter told me that how they do it in the guard. They send for a waiver then if approved take the physical then sign up. Its been a week now for the guard so hopefully next week sometime we will hear something. Anyway I'm wondering if I take the physical at MEPS for the Navy pass it just fine, and the waiver comes back for the Army guard and I decide to join the guard is the physical good for both. Can I get the waiver back and use the Navy MEPS physical to join the guard or the Navy. Because from what I seen when I went to MEPS a couple of years ago everyone goes through the same physical. So please let me know thanks.

Ok I joined the Navy for Information Technology and well I'm very very happy about it and I havent gone to boot camp yet so I don't know exactly what's going to happen but I love it.

Ok before that though I was going to join the air force but the navy kinda talked to me more at the time then I joined them .

now my question is in the field of computers and Information Technology is it smart to go with the navy or would it have been a better Idea to go into the blue with airforce?

what would you have done?

Please answer honestly. Have you or your spouse ever cheated on each other during a deployment?
I heard the divorce rate is at an all time high for military & the frequent deployments have a lot to do with that.

I've heard yes and no's, but wondered if anyone has actually been through it. I would hate to move my family and myself to a whole other country where I know nobody, nothing about or even the language just so my husband can be sent to Iraq! I'd rather stay in the states and be closer to family in my time of need! Anyone know anything about this?

Clearly there are minimum physical and mental requirements for joining the army, but are there any specific standards for hearing and vision? What about height and weight?

There has been so much tension warmongering among political leaders of the world, especially Iran and the US to the point where most average everyday people would think that war with Iran is only a matter of time.

I'm thinking of an actual similar transformation of the nuclear problem with Iran just like it happened to North Korea.

Remember when there was so much tension and warmongering between the US and North Korea? well now that is all but gone and NK has already started to disarm.

the US was never going to attack NK with NK's 1 million man army and outrageous amount of possible repercussions if attacked.

With Iran, it would be so much worse if the US attacked, oil at 200 a barrel, gas at 6 a gallon, more chaos in iraq, more chaos in the middle east, and even chaos in the US.

I think ultimately, what happened to the North Korean nuclear situation will happen to Iran.

What do you think?

thank you

I am talking best as in which you would want to take into a war.

It seems so far that M-16s aren't getting much love in this debate (at least the people I have talked to).

The United States will go to war with China to defend Taiwan. well, if American soldiers invade China which has over 2 million troops, then Americans will die. There is already a war in Iraq and 3,000 US soldiers have died.

I was supposed to PCS from Korea five days ago, but ended up getting extended for 30 days because I am receiving a bad conduct discharge from the Army. My question is to anyone that can help me figure out my options when I get out. Will I ever be able to join again after a certain amount of time, will it be extremely hard for me to get a job or continue with college. I welcome any advice on the subject. Thanks! :)

My husband just deployed three weeks ago and I am trying to figure out what to get him that won't take up space. I already sent one box and it was mostly food and some pictures. But I am wondering what would you have enjoyed to get while stuck on a ship? Oh, he also just got picked up for 3rd. so I am trying to think of good ideas for congratulations. I already buy him video games each month so nothing along those lines. He already has an Ipod and his command is giving them cameras. And his birthday is in January. That is when I want the box to arrive. I know how long it takes. And this is our first deployment.

What do you think about the FSG sending a bowling set (plastic) for the command to make a "bowling league"? They are on a carrier.

Any ideas for the FSG to send to them also? We are just trying to find some ways to aleaviate the stress being gone over the holidays.

I'm an 18-year-old female, soon to be taking the ASVAB to enlist in the Marines. I took the practice test and scored an 80, which is apparently really good. I will take the oath of enlistment and officially enlist this Wednesday. Either tomorrow or the day after that, I'll be choosing my desired job. I want something in aviation. I know I can't fly anything because I'll be enlisted but what are the different jobs in aviation support that I can choose from? I know they'll tell me when the time comes to choose, but I'd like to research my options ahead of time.

What are they, how do I apply, Can I get them in my contract, Do they choose me, How hard is it too get into, etc, etc.
