Manfred Von Richthofen read and trained with Oswald Boelkce all he could, but until he had real .303's flying over his head, blowing his planes to bits. You find out you don't know nothing. Training is only as effective as how UN-trained your opposition are. If your dealing with a guy that can stick a bullet in a dime at 500 yard's, training will do nothing for YOU?

I have heard it takes about two weeks for a package to arrive and we are only to use USPS.

If I send something of value, should I buy insurance, even though it is out of the postal system's hands once it leaves this country?

Also, if the post office marks it as fragile and there is insurance on it....are they more likely to take better care of it? (I've heard that some sailors get their boxes in pretty abused shape.)

Is there anyway I can send a package with speedier delivery so that I can send home baked goods?

Are there any items I am banned from shipping to a sailor on board a ship? (besides, obviously, alcohol.)

Thanks in advance...I am having a difficult time locating people that have the answers to these questions...and I would REALLY like to get this holiday package in the mail.

Do Navigators or Offensive/Defensive Weapons Officers log hours that are considered flight time for aircraft, say if they wanted to pursue a career in Civil Aviation for airlines. Or do Navigators have to learn to fly at all. This of course would be like a F-15E or B-1 crew.

I'm talking about that draft dodger - known as the Vice President of the United States. Otherwise known as Dick Chaney.

Also, he claims to have strengthened the U.S. Military during his tenure as the Secretary of Defense - yet he presided over a military draw-down larger than President Bill Clinton's.

I sepertaed from the Army about a year ago and I just found out, from another recentlcy seperated Veteran , that they mail you the certificate (and a flag I believe), that they are suppose to mail it to you.Does anyone know who I can contact in order to get the certificate?

Also that they is a website that you can go to get all of your ribbions (with your name on them) mailed to you, but he cannot remember the site.Does anyone know that site?

Please Help!! I have "Honorable Discharge" on my DD214 , but I would be more than Honored to have a certificate, from the Army ,on my wall.

Thanks and God Bless

P.S. - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont give a bull anwser! Please dont answer with : "They should have given you one" or "Ive got mine" or "That sucks" or " Your got screwed" or anything of that nature! Please only answer if you are ACTUALLY answering the question!!!

Are we already at our limit in funds? Are our troops stretched too thin? Are we going to stand up and take charge as a country if the next president decides to send us to war when we say we don't want to? Will our country survive should we be invaded? I would LOVE to hear everyone's opinion about these issues.

I was reading Woodrow Wilson's Wikipedia article which stated that he instituted the first "effective draft." I thought there was a draft for the Civil War. Is this an error by wikipedia, or am I wrong about the Civil War, or does "effective draft" somehow not apply to the Civil War? Thanks.
