If I were in the military and Mr Bush gave me an order to torture someone, I would not do it. I would not give him that kind of authority over me. How about you?

A man served in WWII, contracted a Radioactive Chemical Substance into his body, and it was transmitted to his two sons,
at their births, one boy died, the other currently suffers (physically
and has degree of mental deficiency since birth).
This Radioactive Chemical Disease is now into the 3rd Generation,
and I want to know if the Veterans Administration / Military, should
be Responsible for Payment of Compensation / Medical Bills, for
members of this family?
This sustance has caused two family members to die, one is suffering badly. Three more of the 3rd generations (all minor children)...are now ''beginning to suffer" the symptoms.
In my opinion, all these family members...who are ''at-risk" should
be tested !!
Can or should the Veterans Administration / Military be Responsible
for the Medical Bills / Compensation...for the suffering...the Testing
of these ''remaining victims"...of which there are 4 now, still alive...
and 5 more who have not yet shown symptoms. TF

It seems like the great leaders of the past were military heroes before becoming President and today it's more important to be popular and be able to win over enough people. The whole election process has become a big money game rather than looking at the character of a person, their morality and their military capability. The heroes of yesterday like George Washington are gone and in their place laughingstock quality people with no military experience whatsoever - and they are competent to tell our military what to do? Bill Clinton for instance - his biggest military accomplishment was to make room for gay people to "come out" in the military. I'm not making a judgment call on that here - but just compare that to some of the battles that George Washington brought our country through and it seems that our candidates for President today are hardly concerned with what is really important and focusing on minor things that have little relevance to the task of the military.

I still think that battleships can be put to good use. Yes, aircraft carriers are more useful because they carry planes and planes gives you alot of advantage in battles. They are also somehow faster than other marine transportations. As a result, battleships are becoming obsolete and no countries in the world are producing it anymore. But what if you can add missiles to it? Missiles are faster and some can travel at a longer distance than planes. If you used it properly, it can also be very accurate. It can also save more lives ( you need pilots in planes). So, wouldn't this make battleships as good as, or even better than, aircraft carriers? Just wondering. I mean, if there are better things, then of course I would encourage the use of those things. It is just that I think battleships shouldn't be eliminated yet.

My husband and I are currently going through a divorce, and he is military (national gaurd). He has told me that the military does not recognize a legal separation and that we are still married until the divorce is final. He has also said that if either him, myself, or both of us were to get involved with anyone else before the divorce is final, that we could be thrown in jail by the military. Is there any truth to this what so ever, or should I just add it to the list of lies that he's always fed me? Thanks!

Another former defence chief, General Lord Guthrie, said Mr Brown had been "unsympathetic" to the military. .."

Will you be voting for Gordon Brown to remain as Prime Minister after next General Election - where the PUBLIC CHOOSE?

Which ones? we're occuping bout 130 plus countries. We've been in Korea for 50 plus yrs. WE ARE NEVER LEAVING IRAQ - that was ALWAYS the plan.

DECLARE WAR (like the Constitution states) against a COUNTRY and i'll support the troops. No mumbo jumbo UN resolution grap.

Like the 'war of drugs' it's a NEVER ENDING money making operation.
