It is not the fact that we are in Iraq I find shameful.

It is the fact we dropped 55,000 bombs reported by the strategic bomber who was in charge of calculating where to bomb and what bombs to use. He gave the figure the a civilian life loss was 30 per bomb.

The fact that George Bush disregarded all check valves for overacting. United Nations and Congress. Declared war.

The current revelation that this war was suppose to be self funded by the oil and 1.6 trillion has been taken from our economy. In addition this occupation is leaning on future social security as revealed on CSPAN.

In addition as the proclaimed most powerful military why are our soldiers being mangled and killed. We don't have the capability of securing the city of Bagdad with 180,000 troups.
The entire country is the approximate size of California.

So this is my situation, I'm almost done with my associate of arts degree, and now that I'm going to a University they require that I choose a major so my classes can assist my career goals. I'm pretty set on joining the military as an officer when I finish, but I can't decide what exactly I would like to do in the military.

I would really like to be a co-pilot in some type of combat aircraft, such as a navigator/WSO in a jet or an apache.

Can you recommend some guidance to meet the requirements for such goals? I've spoke to recruiters and they just want me to enlist right away without a clue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I used it for one graduate class while I was still in about 3 years ago, so I know the clock is ticking. How long is it good for?

I did the $100 a month option before they changed it so you could pay $150 a month for 150% of the payout. So what's the maximum payout that I can get?

Sorry.....It's been a while.

Did anyone see this story on today's Democracy Now.

Army Wants Wounded Soldiers to Return Bonuses
The Pentagon is forcing thousands of wounded veterans to return signing bonuses they received for joining the army. The military says the injured soldiers aren’t entitled to the money because they didn’t complete their full tour of duty. Jordan Fox of Pennsylvania left the military three months early after being hit by a roadside bomb in Iraq. He sustained back injuries and lost all vision in his right eye. Earlier this month he received a Pentagon letter asking him to return some three thousand dollars in sign-up bonuses. Fox and his mother had recently started a program to send thousands of care packages to servicemembers in Iraq.

After hearing this can anyone still say that support of this administration is Patriotic and Supports our Troops.

I think the drill instructors got in trouble for doing stuff that all drill instructors do, and I also think that some of the witnesses are exaggerating their stories a bit. If what the drill instructors did is a crime, then all drill instructors should be court marshaled. I know when I went through boot camp I had my toiletries stomped on, I was smacked a couple of times, and I had to down water just like they said, but I never felt like I was getting treated any worse than the next guy. It seems to me like recruits are getting softer and softer these days. Don't think that I'm backing a drill instructor who did indeed break the law, but a drill instructor who is only trying to get his recruits to train the right way shouldn't be ratted out like that.
