I'm talking about that draft dodger - known as the Vice President of the United States. Otherwise known as Dick Chaney.

Also, he claims to have strengthened the U.S. Military during his tenure as the Secretary of Defense - yet he presided over a military draw-down larger than President Bill Clinton's.

Its Cheney not Chaney.

Republicans prefer it when OTHER people do the fighting (and dying) for them.

Cheney used up all of his draft deferrals during Vietnam. Then his wife popped out a kid nearly to the day when his time would have been up but fathers were not being sent to Vietnam so he lucked out on it.

He's a chicken hawk...always willing to go to war as long as someone else does it for them.

Romney had a high draft lottery number anyway, so chances are, even if he never went to France or never went to school, he never would have been drafted. Besides, I don't think the church would have called him on a mission if his lottery number was low. BTW, he lived in a converted mansion, not a palace, and he was working that whole time, not lying around living the good life. He lived there for only about 6 months of the two and a half years he was there. France is not an easy mission.

Same way Bill "Slick Willie" Clinton did with Bosnia and Kosovo. BTW the Vice President cannot send anyone into harms way, only the president of the U.S. can with the authorization of congress.

Joe T: The question was not about how many soldiers were KIA. The question was how can this VP send people into harms way. In Bosnia at least two U.S. aircraft were downed by hostile fire and more were damaged. It is by the grace of god that these men were not killed. Also, at the beginning of the conflict, three soldiers were captured. Fortunately they were released relatively unharmed. It is too early to say what has and has not succeeded as long as U.S. troops are still needed in both conflicts.

Hypocrisy! He is an oil man along with GW Bush.

Cheney and Bush are COWARDS!

I am not a Clinton fan, so I just vote!

Dick Cheney is earning blood money since he is still part of Halliburton.

This company truly has a guardian angel: former Halliburton CEO and now Vice President Dick Cheney who looks out for its interests from the White House.

No slick Willie was not near the drafty dodger coward Bush was. President Clinton got a college deferment that all of the gop chicken hawk congress also got. Wat hero fighter pilot Bush got out of the war by being appointed to a national guard unit that somehow was not accepting anyone else but some how found room for porgie
but thats the gop, avoid the draft and be a hero, be a war hero like kerry but be democrat and you are guilty of treason

As much as I loath, despise and detest Cheney, as far as I'm concerned, anybody who got out of Vietnam was smart to do so.

Another useless, immoral war and waste of 54,000 young lives.

It is ironic though that Cheney went and did the same damn thing that he himself had the good sense to avoid by pushing the Dummy into war.

I don't know how he sleeps at night. Surely he's going to blow his brains out.

PS NO AMERICAN SOLDIERS WERE KILLED IN KOSOVO AND IT WORKED.

At least what Cheney did was legal. Bush Jr got out of going to Vietnam by being AWOL.
