Military - October 2007

who do i go to to request an entry level separation from the navy, where should i begin with all this. If you are gonna comment this saying to suck it up or blah blah this and that then dont even post your answer...cause it will be ignored, you dont know what im going through so suck it. Anyone with information on where to begin please tell me. thank you very much.

lets say a guy went into a "gang",he sell drugs he mugg people and a lot of ghetto kids go to jail a LOT, then what??? nothing...he would just get more street respect and still do the same thing and become more dangerous and later he would get killed in some "gang-war" but if they let him join the military that might turn his life around, coz you know the Military has discipline and all, so instead of just putting them into jail(which won't work anyway), why can't we just accept those mislead people to the military and give them a chance to a better life???

He cheated on me 5 months ago. We are still trying to get passed it. I keep thinking that if he goes to boot camp or wherever he's going, that he will cheat on me again. Should I be worried? What is it like? Is it likely that he will interact with women a lot? Is there a chance that he could actually hook up with someone? He keeps telling me I have nothing to worry about. Please help me. I have about 100 credits (pretty much all various science and G.E.) from 3 different colleges. I signed up for Nuke and want to go on a sub. I was thinking that becoming an officer would be a good idea. I figured I might be a few classes shy of a degree and could maybe attain one in two years (after Nuke school of course). Would I then have to re-up my contract? And what would the chances of even being able to go officer be?

I plan to become a USCG rescue swimmer after highschool(junior at this moment).Im just wondering how i should start training or preparing now for later when the time comes.To tell you about my self:Im pretty stong (Ex: bench 240 and only weight 150). Im displined i get a's and b's in school. I run a lot, i did cross country. I swim a lot too and i started swimming in my people which is getting pretty cold now .. to get used to cold water.Ive taken advanced technique swimming at a local college and im a good swimmer. I also plan to be a firefighter after the coast gaurd. And im pretty persistent at what i want. This year i also am doing spring football and next year swimming at school. So any ideas what i should start doing? Thanks.

I am interested in joining the Navy or coast guard, however I dislike being on boats for extended periods of time. Again no stupid remarks please. I have my reasons for my interest in the Navy or Coast Guard. Are there carrers in the Navy or Coast guard where I do not have to worry about being stuck on a sub or aircraft carrier?

so most of you guys are saying "are you serious? Is it that bad?" no it isnt that bad at all. What im trying to get through to you guys is that the navy is a JOKE. Our master at arms at the gate dont even have guns. Are you serious? is this really the military? THey have me cleaning because im undesignated, and i chose undesignated because i was going to be an AO but i wanted to go to bootcamp early. I was lied to so much by the recruiter about striking and stuff like that, some character the military has, lieing to you in every way you can. And now here my chain of command is absolutely retarded and just want me to be undesignated and become a boatswain mate, THAT ISNT ME. I do NOTHING all day after i sweep for 10 min. in the morning and that is how its gonna be for a while. So WHY THE HELL would i wanna waste my time with this when i could get out and start working where i already was again and save money to go to school. the Navy is absolutely stupid and a waste of my time.waytolie!

i go on leave in december and i wanted to talk to my old family doctor about some issues i have been having.. the military doc's dont seem to take things as seriously because i guess they think everyone is trying to get over on them.. to get out of the army or whatever.. so i was wondering if i would have to pay the full cost of the doctors visit and prescription or if my army medical insurance would cover it? thanks

If we compare different nations to the USA we find that America's military dominates them with funding and technology. Therefore we need to ask ourselves "Does America really need to have the best military?" Should the USA police the world to justified the funding or is America built on its military (70% of the science comes from the government)?
