focus on endurance, run 3 miles because you will do alot of it and focus on upperbody work because the obstacle courses will wear you out. good luck and try not to be on profile

As an army soldier, you don't need to train. Basic Training will get you into shape really fast whether your working out beforehand or not.

But if you want a different answer than I would say endurance. Mostly with running, because you will run a lot.

I would be doing everything to be more physically fit than my peers. More pull ups, more crunches, more push ups, increasing my endurance and cardio by running and doing sprints, getting used to climbing ropes. During basic training (of any type), your body becomes broken down either physically or mentally. The more you do ahead of time to build it, the longer it will last among your peers! Additionally, it SETS YOU APART from your peers in a good way!

Focus on endurance. Weight lifting will add muscle, and muscle will slow you down and wear you out on those long rucks. Good luck.

Keep up the exercises, but remember, there's more to basic than just PT. It isn't so much how strong your muscles are but how big your heart is.
When you get there, focus on teamwork. If you help someone who is having trouble, help him! you will create some one who will help you when you're having trouble.
Teamwork! They want it, they look for it, they encourage it, and most important , they reward it.
Good luck.

Just maintain.

Millions have entered the military over the years without any training regimen whatsoever. And almost all of them made it through boot camp.

You'll do ok.

Talk to your recruiter about the current boot camp exercise standards, and work toward them now.

A & B but don't overtrain.

Train towards being ready.. any thing extra you pick up while there is good.

Train as much as you feel comfortable doing.

imo.
