A few strategically placed nuclear smart bombs could bring terror to its knees.

This is not a serious question. How do you drop a nuclear concept on an abstraction? Terror is only a concept. The point I was trying to make is that the war on terror is an ill chosen name. We are at war with radical fundamentalist Muslims, not terror. The Bush administration just doesn't want it to sound like we are at war with a religion, which unfortunately, in a way we are.

You have limited your scope of reference. Not all terrorist are or have been Muslim fundamentalists. Terrorism is a tactic. Our war is about terrorism and the countries that support it. Bader Minhof is not Muslim. The Red Brigade is not Muslim. The NPA / CPP is not Muslim. Just because the current terrorists are predominately Muslim fundamentalist does not mean they are the only enemy threat we face.

A concept is a thought. A thought cannot be defeated or regulated.

You have no idea of the force in a small nuke. A nuke is not a 'smart' bomb or missile warhead. A nuke is for mass(as in big) destruction.

Where exactly would you nuke and what exactly do you think the reaction would be of the rest of the world Muslim community? In case you have forgotten, there are 1.2 billion of them, and some have nukes of their own.
